We stopped going here over a year and a half ago since the prices for the quality and amount of food went down greatly. But today is my husband's bday amd I thought I would give it another try this afternoon. Our bill was just over 23.00. We got him biscuits and gravy a filull order and 2 slices of pie for his bday dessert. The smallest serving of biscuits and gravy I have ever seen and 2 tiny slices of pie. Yes it sounds like I am being picky. I know food costs are up for everyone. But price and value are still important. If we had gone just a few miles up the road to the red geranium for 13.00 he would have had left overs and way more food for the value. I called around for other prices of a slice of pie. No one else is charging that much for that size piece of pie. Did it taste good? Yes. Were they kind? Yes. Was it still a huge rip off and value for the items? Oh Yes. Spend your hard earned money somewhere that has way better value. I know inflation makes everything more money, this is why spending money wisely matters. Won't be back again...

This cute little restaurant was an absolute find. I was looking for someplace near the Wyoming VA Medical Center where I could grab some breakfast after my blood work and before my appointment. This place really hit the spot. The food was delicious with generous sized portions. The service was excellent, and fast! My server, Elise, was terrific. She knows how to be attentive without hovering. She managed, in spite of a full restaurant, to never allow my coffee cup to get low. That, for me, is huge. For all you carnivores out there, I strongly recommend the "All the Meats" skillet. I had an opportunity to try BFR again. Once again they did not disappoint. We had Matt and Mandi Palmbos with Byron Family Rest. cater our daughter's wedding at the Scheltema Barn. We had the most delicious food and the greatest service imaginable! Matt Palmbos puts his all in to the details and ensuring that everything goes smooth. We did not have to concern ourselves with anything. We received numerous compliments during the wedding and after on how great the food was! You can tell that he has so much experience with weddings yet he made us feel very special! He deals meticulously with the every detail that was specific to our wedding!! His prices were very reasonable!!
