Very disappointed (and embarrassed) of my first and only experience here.
I went to Full Circle today with a friend to go over work, and before coming checked out their menu as I had not been there before. They do not offer any food, aside from muffins and scones. My meeting was around lunchtime and so I grabbed a sub from Jimmy Johnās to eat while I was there. While I understand it can be frowned upon to bring in outside food or drink to other food establishments, I didnāt think I was completely in the wrong since they donāt offer a food menu for me to order from.
Iād like to mention Iām also 35 weeks pregnant. I was sitting with my friend (who ordered a scone and a coffee) and while I was in the middle middle of eating my sub, I was approached by the owner to stop eating because outside food and drink is not allowed. I checked around the shop and their website and nothing is listed to prohibit this. I had to go out to my car to finish my sandwich before continuing my meeting.
Furthermore, after I returned from my vehicle, a group of young teenagers came in with beverages and food from Starbucks! They were NOT approached by the owner during their time there to stop eating or drinking like I was. I made sure to keep an eye and see if he would treat them the same. Iām unsure why I was singled out.
Really bummed about this interaction and how inconsistent their āpoliciesā are. I wouldāve appreciated a warning, given the circumstances, and fair treatment amongst all patrons. As a resident of Byron Center, I will not be returning and will give my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWonderful locally owned coffee shop in Byron Center. I was near town for work and looked up coffee places. I figured main stream coffee chains would show on my quest, which they did but to my suprise this little gem popped up. Full circle is near the center of town in the corner end of a strip mall. They have a mini lobby and then as you go in the counter is to the right with the rest of the area having spacious seating. The baristas where kind and I ordered a Cafe Miel (Cinnamon and Honey style latte). One of the best ones I have had, it tasted delicious! Looking forward to seeing more options. Sounds like this place is newer and trying to find a way to bring community and coziness together. I think they will get there in time. I enjoyed some of what they offered in board games, it's an upgrade to standard board game collections in public places, you definitely didn't get the typical thrift shop pick up. One suggestion is to have some trash bins and recycling for public use and to have a spot to put a water dispenser with cups...

What a great place! They guys running it couldnāt be any more friendly. I read through some comments about the environment being cold and too roomy. I have to say, sure... maybe a little bit of that feeling, but each time I visit there is something new. This is the awesome part of a local, community coffee shop. Frequent visitors will get to grow with them. It is more than an awesome cup of coffee, itās a couple of guys with a dream that created a place for people in our community to be a part of it all.
If you havenāt been, go. If you have been, go again! Letās get behind this place and make it a long lasting...
