I was so excited to go to ABC and to show support. I ordered the steak bowl all the way and the tacos all the way as well. I tried to order a strawberry lemonade but unfortunately, they were sold out and settled for Sprite. So I got there around 12:15ish give or take and there was a small crowd of maybe 20-30 ppl. I ordered and the cashier was nice and asked did I wanted to be texted when the order was ready. I accepted and gave her my #, I left and ran an errand or 2 (location O'Reilly, Russell Pkwy) I came back and parked and sat for another 15 min it was almost 1! So I get out of the car and walk up(the crowd is now scarce) I hear # 76 being called, so I think surely my order is ready. I inquired about my number(70) it's not ready... I'm perplexed but the cashier immensely thanks me for my patience. Because I'm sure she can see the confusion on my face. So I'm waiting ....and ...waiting my number is called around 1:50ish. No, I didn't check before I left so that was my fault. I didn't get the mushrooms I paid for and my bell peppers weren't sautéed the steak was good and seasoned. The mashed potatoes were decent but I prefer my own and the homemade chunks of the potatoes. I didn't have the "Love Sauce" (was not in the potato bowl) so I went home and put my rendition of "Love Sauce" The shrimp were decent, and the bowl was a nice portion. Prices are higher but that's expected due to inflation. My total was 44.00 I really,really wanted to like the steak bowl but I think my expectations were higher than what was presented. My daughter enjoyed the tacos she ate (2) comes with (3) nearly whole. My constructive criticism would be prepping. I would sautéed my veggies prior and have them on stand-by. I understand she's working by herself as far as cooking and space is limited. But I think prepping before opening could really be beneficial and having an extra person prep orders. I saw the young gentleman at the fry station and passing orders but with a good system. in place things could possibly be more coordinated because the numbers are called randomly and I understand it's all about what the customer's ordered Don't expect American Deli or Philly & Wings how call orders Would I give it another try? Read moreI had been seeing this place all over social media and Google recommendations ,so i decided to give it a try. The atmosphere and vibe are a 10/10, customer service is also a 10/10, the wait was a little long in line but they are steadily working the line down so that was no problem as i expected the food to be great. For presentation they get a 10/10 as a whole , the food looks marvelous and well made. The taste however is a 1/10, and the one is generosity , the dressing had way too much seasoning, and celery . It was So overpowering i couldn’t even eat it, a slight change in amount of that could easily improve it. The Mac and cheese was WAY TOO GARLICKY, I couldn’t taste anything but garlic , it was so potent , if you take away the garlic , the Mac could easily be a 10. Yams were not sweet , at all. Bbq ribs were not prepared well, idk if we got a bad batch or what but i was disappointed and the pork chop was pink on the inner but it had a good flavor! The lemonade is a 1000/10 . Read moreThe good: The atmosphere is very welcoming. The place is well kept and clean. The prices aren't bad for the portions. The food was cooked done. The wait time is right on point. The Not So Good: I ordered salmon, shrimp, and grits. The presentation was very disappointing. It looked nothing like the post on FB. I thought I snapped a picture, but it didn't save. The dish seemed too oily and you could only see grits. Plus, the grits were a little grainy. We also ordered salmon, shrimp and green beans on ricotto rice. There were no complaints about it, other than the salmon being a little cold. The presentation was just as it is on the site. I also ordered the triple layer cake with keylime. It was absolutely delicious. Closing Thoughts: Maybe consider different packaging for the grits. It overtakes the entire dish. Be sure that the grits are completely done.
