Wish I could give it zero stars. This is not an isolated incident - which prompted this review.
I typically order online as there are better deals. This time, I chose to pickup inside to take the burden off them running the order to my car. Upon arrival, the lobby was closed and the drive thru line was double wide to the road. Someone exiting told me they were there over 30 minutes to get their order.
Great! Mine was being prepared now with a 30 minute wait getting cold.
I took it upon myself to call and asked them kindly if they could bring my completed order outside…. Since It was sitting inside for pickup!
20 minutes later (now over 30 since the order being completed), it was brought out - COLD. It wasn’t even under lights and the bag was beat up like it has been handled by 6 people.
I asked the lady for a replacement as I rather enjoy my food at least like warm. She didn’t respond. I asked her again - she didn’t respond. She then walked back into the locked lobby.
The beat up, cold food ended up in their garbage. And nobody there cares.
Again - not an isolated incident. A very similar situation occurred at this location a little over a year ago. I spoke with the “new” management from the Schulz family ownership. They promised me a refund. It must have been lost in the mail….
This has always been one of the worst McDonalds anywhere. The new ownership hasn’t helped. I understand Covid and competing with the government payroll has been tough. But an already bad McDonalds has gotten worse.
I really won’t be back to this location.
I’m from Port Huron and grew up with the Schulz ownership - and they are great.

Read moreMy mom, boyfriend and I decided to go into McDonalds tonight (may 4th, 2019). I ordered a number 9, which is 2 cheeseburgers, a fry and drink. Asked for both my burgers to be special because I can not eat pickles or ketchup it messes with my stomach. My boyfriend got a number 1, which everyone knows is a big mac meal and my mom got a fudge sundae. The person taking our order typed in my request wrong (luckily I had her read it back) and proceeded to give my mom the wrong change. Then made the excuse of "sorry we're really busy". There were barely any cars going through the drive thru and there were a total of about 6 people in the dining room while we waited for our food, we were also the ONLY ones waiting for food. She brought out our food with only ONE cheeseburger but everything else and said "you ordered 1 cheeseburger, right?". Once I corrected her she took the tray back and had to tell the kitchen to make the second burger. The first burger was not even special at all, it had everything on it. Didnt even have the sticker that's supposed to be on the wrapper. Got it corrected and it was still wrong. After we took my burger to the manager herself was my burger correct! It is safe to say we will NEVER be back and I HIGHLY recommend that no one goes to this establishment, if you want McDonalds go to the north end of Cadillac. They'll actually get your order right compared to this one. The McDonalds on 115 is a joke and I am honestly surprised that it still gets...
Read moreI hate writing negative reviews. But the store in Cadillac my daughter absolutely loves the idea of McDonald's. Gets a 6 piece nugget happy meal with a cheese burger with only ketchup and pickles. Pretty easy order I think. I tell you what No matter what time of day morning or night. They can't seem to get it right. This last visit there was so much ketchup on the burger that my wife had to wipe off the burger with a napkin and couldn't use the wrapper because it's saturated in ketchup. My daughter looked at her food and cried. It makes me so upset for these people in the good industry to not take this job seriously. Not a big deal to mess up once and a while. But no matter what I do there is always something. My wife this last time ordered a coke zero. She CANNOT Absolutely can't have regular sugar soda. Well even after double checking. They gave her regular coke. And it's not like you can get it mixed with mine because get Dr. PEPPER every time. So there is no excuse especially when it can lead to major issues for my wife. Even then they still can't get something right. I expect the food to be fresh. The food they sent out had to be up in the window for some time and was NOT Fresh. It's to the point to where I'll take my daughter and my wife and I take our business elsewhere and usually have to get our daughter something else. One day someone will end up seriously injured.
