I recently had the pleasure of trying the Cazuela de Mariscos with a side of fried plantain at Leñas Pizza and Grill, and it was an unforgettable dining experience. The cazuela itself was a masterpiece, brimming with an assortment of fresh seafood including shrimp, mussels, clams, and tender fish, all simmered in a rich, flavorful broth. The broth had a perfect balance of spices, offering a deep, savory taste with just the right amount of heat and a hint of tomato.
What made this dish even more special was the side of fried plantain. The plantains were perfectly fried to a golden brown, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, adding a deliciously sweet contrast to the savory seafood stew. This combination of textures and flavors was simply delightful, making each bite a harmonious blend of rich, comforting broth and the satisfying crunch of the plantain.
The portion was generous, and the presentation was warm and inviting, with the plantains neatly arranged on the side, ready to be dipped into the flavorful broth. This dish is a must-try for anyone who loves seafood or is looking to experience a taste of Latin American cuisine with a creative twist. Leñas Pizza and Grill has...
Read moreMy novia and I came here for a quick dinner last night. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm and friendly service. The decor is quirky and inviting and we immediately felt comfortable. Great pizza and sushi as well. Def recommend their carbonara pizza, really good flavor, and crust.” Everything is cooked fresh, and you can taste the difference in comparison to some other restaurants. Short menu, delicious, natural food, real chefs, great presentation, and the service and ambiance are top-notch too. Lovely meal. Excellent mojitos as well. Exceptionally friendly and polite staff. All the food was delicious and fresh. The cheesecake frito was one of the best desserts I ever tasted. Thanks for a lovely evening. I think we have found our new favorite restaurant. All in all, a very pleasant meal. A friend of ours went for a birthday meal and told us that we should go to this place. We did not know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service. Overall, I Would stop in again if, in the area, prices were very reasonable and the staff and bartender are very knowledgeable of the items on the menu and...
Read moreI was really looking forward to eating here. The area has a lot of parking, place is big and spacious with a lot of seating and the menu looked good with a lot of options. The service was great but the food wasn't. We ordered the palitos rellenos and it was good, but the waiter asked if we wanted spinach in it. I did not know it would be $2 extra, and no one said it until we saw the receipt. There was only like 5 spinach keaves in there. However, it was pretty good regardless. We ordered the "Healthy" pizza as it is one of the only vegetarian options on the menu, and it came with way too many black olives. It was overpowering and not that great, was a little undercooked. We also ordered dessert, the Bonbolinis, which we didn't know what it was, but the waiter described it as donuts with different fillings. What we got was hard fried balls with chocolate in it and ice cream. It honestly tasted stale and refried because it wasn't really soft like a donut. It was pretty disappointing, especially for it to be the most expensive dessert on the menu. Overall average experience, I...
