Marty's Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Caldwell Township

Lives in this town my entire life, and I have no idea how this restaurant is still open. When I was 16, I placed an application, and i called a week later to check on the application, Marty answered and said "If she wanted to hire you, she would have called you." That is not how you talk to your customers or future employees. I have eaten here several times, and have never had a good experience. Burgers are tasteless, dry, and over cooked. Mac and cheese bites are flavorless. Their pizza is mediocre. Everything is frozen, they make nothing fresh.. Everything taste freezer burnt. and now you have to grab your food from the kitchen line , clean your own table off, and take care of your own plates, and there is still a spot on the reciept to leave a tip, in a place you serve yourself. Absolutely disgusting, not sure how this place is still in business. Tables are ALWAYS STICKY. I have lost hope...

We stopped in on our way through Lake City, the service was fast and extremely friendly. There was only one waitress tending to all 6 tables, but she did a fantastic job, wish I would have caught her name. The seating is a little crowded, but just adds to the small town feel! Best around. We have been to Marty's several times over the past few years while visiting our friend in Lake City. This pizza is awesome. We typically order the deluxe and ditch the mushrooms and add peppers. Great cheese bread too. Love the unique fold they do...
