Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Caldwell

A lot of the times people only leave a review because they had a bad experience. I wanted to give this location justice by leaving mine.

I love the other local Jersey Mike's location in Meridian and was so excited this location opened up closer to me.

The best gluten free sandwiches around. It's very rare an establishment will attempt to understand food allergies let alone making accommodations. I wanted to let ya'll know it is VERY appreciated that you change gloves and use separate cutting board and knife.

I have ordered curb-side at least 5 times now and have only had one issue - which was solved very promptly - pretty good for a new location with new staff!

I have also ordered pick-up where I walk in the store and grab my order. The staff has always been very friendly and prompt with greeting me and making sure I'm acknowledged.

The parking situation is pretty crummy considering it's right by a busy Starbucks but the staff has always gone above and beyond to locate my car for curb-side pick up.

Real weird experience. Food was not good. The employees seemed like they really didn’t know what they were doing. We had never been before and we found the “order here” spot and went over there. We told them the sandwiches we wanted then we were handed a piece of paper receipt thing with no explanation.

Apparently we were supposed to go over to the cashier to pay for it.

I am not sure at all at what point we were supposed to tell them what toppings we wanted on the sub. So we just awkwardly stood there until we noticed them starting to make our subs and told them what we wanted.

My Italian sub was very dry. They got oil and vinegar everywhere but the sandwich.. it was bland.

One employee arrived and parked right in front of the store before coming in and yelling hello at the employees. Meanwhile another employee ran outside to tell someone they were missing a sandwich…? And the same employee used her vape right outside the doors in front of the store and then came back in.

I will say that the taste and the meats were fresh and flavorful! However, they use the same cutting area for bread at the front register and it isnt wiped free of crumbs in-between patrons. One of the line staff (female) was actually flipping one of the slices of my sandwich in the air and catching it while she waited for the other half to be done! I was appalled. ( I'm in the Healthcare profession) Music was exceptionally loud and we couldn't hear the staff when they asked questions. The front register staff member was exceptionally polite and professional. The next day, I tried to notify a manager that the staff needed additional training but no one was available. I called a week later and got a team lead, who seemed nice enough, but her" yeah" and " uh huh" responses were not managerial caliber. They need some additional instruction or the Health Dept will have a hay day if they go in for...
