McDonald's — Restaurant in Caldwell

I sent my 19-year-old to grab a quick dinner from this location. Our order was not put together properly (expired milk in the Happy Meal, missing BBQ sauce, no mustard on the hamburgers, etc). I sent my son (and the food) back to have the order remade. The male supervisor (he wasn't wearing a name tag) who addressed the situation walked away in the middle of my son's explanation, grabbed a milk, a cheeseburger (our order didn't have any cheeseburgers), and some BBQ sauce and gave the three items to my son. He refused to do anything more (like replace the meal since it was stone cold at this point) saying, "You already got your chicken nuggets." I called the store, asked for a supervisor, waited on hold for about ten minutes and got the opportunity to speak to Veronica, a department manager. She patiently listened to my explanation, empathized with my situation, and offered to help. She acknowledged my feelings and agreed that the situation could have been handled better. She was willing to personally remake the order, which I was incredibly grateful for, and so I sent my son back with the receipt to the store to pick it up. The food came back hot, delicious and it hit the spot. The end-of-a-long-work-day-guilty-pleasure-meal was just what I needed and Veronica made it happen. McDonald's Caldwell is usually a good place to hang out with friends and enjoy a cup of coffee or a soda. I have hung out there for years and made some great friends. I like to go there and color or read or, in the past I have crocheted. Most of the staff is pleasant and friendly. The store manager is great. However, with the play place in it, it does get VERY loud. It can be extremely busy throughout the day. The lobby isn't always the cleanest but there is one or two women who do try their best to keep it clean. During extremely busy times, it's understandable that the floor may not be as clean as it could be but the tables, in my opinion, should always be top priority. Drive thru can be next to impossible to get through at times. The entrance off of the Blvd can be quite dangerous with it being so narrow and such a small area to begin with, but then you add in the people exiting the parking lot and those leaving drive thru from a very blind area and you have a recipe for disaster! The entrance off of Linden can be almost as bad with the high volume of traffic on Linden to cross and cars lining up behind you from the traffic light. I think if Caldwell were to add at least one more McDonald's store, perhaps closer to downtown, it might ease some of the traffic concerns at this location. So my friend and I went through their drive through, and we had ordered 2 double quarter pounder meals one with no ketchup or pickles, and of course since they were supposed to be in the meals, I ordered them large, and no salt on the fries, and 2 large dr. Peppers no ice, and my friend ordered another large fry no salt as well, and a Mc chicken. So we get up to the window, and they said there was only one large fry ordered I said no that's incorrect, there should be 3. Anyhow they had me pull olaround to the front so they could straighten it out. So the girl that brought us our food said no there was only 2 fries on my reciept,receipt,, regardless the person taking my order read it back to me, and she repeated 3 large fries. Needless to say the worker that brought us our food was extremely rude, and should be fired. Not only did I not get what I ordered I never got my drinks either although I paid for them. And her response was well if you want another large fry there's the drive through you'll have to go through the drive through if you want another one. So needless to say I'll never return back to their establishment, and they should reimburse me back for my entire order, since they messed it up so badly! Worse...
