Done right! My family and I had some special events and while my wife and I planned to do a date night there sometime, we ended up going as a family instead. Nice dinners are always best with kids, right? šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø Easy part - kids both ordered chicken tenders. I believe it was $8 each. They seemed to be premade tenders like frozen from GFS. They were definitely good though. Not the cheap ones. Fries were the only option which is not uncommon. My youngest prefers fruit so I wish there was an alternative, but fries were good. Adults - I ordered the bread appetizer. $5 came with 5 or 6 slices of Italian toasted crostini. Bread was meh. There was a slight toast so it was a soft chew. The oil had a great olive taste complimented with garlic and fresh cracked pepper. Wine selection was good. Focusing primarily on white, they were all on the dryer side. I actually had one I’ve never had before - La Maialina Gertrude. Very earthy, a bit mild. I plan to buy a bottle for home if I see it at Meijer/Costco. I lied, that was my wife’s order but I tried it. I ordered a beer, heavy on pineapple but still hoppy. Well balanced. Nothing special but it was my first time having it so I was a fan. Food - my wife ordered bolognese. I believe it was a 3 meat? Pasta cooked perfectly. Well done back of the house! Sauce was great. It coated the noodles but was not sloppy. My wife killed it and would order again. In order the pork chop. It was Roman spiced which I’m not familiar with those seasoning. It did have a slight kick and if you hate spicy, it’s not for you but IMO, it was subtle and brought the pork to life. The pork was cooked medium well which is how it’s cooked when ordered. I’m sure you could ask for well done, but please don’t. I’d describe the heat like a chipotle but with a less smoky taste. The grits and spinach were perfect. Honestly, this was the most tender chop I’ve ever had. Absolutely stunned with how they did it. (Note, I may had taken a bite or two prior to the pic because I was selfish and starving. I tried to cover it up for aesthetics) Rosanna’s is not cheap. I will say that. However, I’d much rather come here than some famous wine chain on 28th. You can tell they care and have attention to detail with their food (minus chicken tenders but let’s not get carried away). I think the best part of the fabulous meal was the service. I’m sad I don’t recall my servers name as she was amazing her haircut reminds me of PINK - if you see her, ask for her. She was fun, never let a drink go empty, checked on us between food/drinks, phenomenal. Overall, I probably won’t go just for a Wednesday dinner because I’m Dutch and cheap. However, I would love to go back to celebrate a special occasion or a rare date night with my wife.

This was our first time here. Our server was Katherine. She presented three menus to us. One was drinks, the second was the lunch/dinner menu and the third was the brunch menu that was available earlier in the day. She explained that there were items available on the brunch menu if one of us so desired. My husband ordered the the Italian beef hash from the Brunch menu. He said the spice level was very good. I ordered the Margherita pizza. Such a simple pizza, but because this is a resturant that makes everything from scratch, it tasted phenomenal! The staff checked in frequently with us. For desert I ordered the Tirmusu. This is truly made by a family recipe. I love Tirmusu and this was the first time I actually experienced real lady fingers soaked in coffee liquor. Our entire meal was homemade (made from scratch). The prices were very fair. My 12 inch margarita pizza was just $14 and my husband's Italian beef hash was just $15. We both had leftovers. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Rossana's. We will definitely be back very soon.

We're Cal residents that live nearby & had meant to try this place sooner because Cal is in need of good restaurants, but kind of glad we didn't in hindsight. Ordered takeout and we were seriously disappointed. Order said pickup would be ready by 6:28p but was officially ready about 20min after that. Ensured I had my 4 items and left. Get home to realize the extra meatball ordered for the spaghetti was forgotten. The pizza was cold (likely done by 6:28p but then sat there while the other food caught up) & the cannolis were warm (likely taken out of fridge too early and also packaged between warm spaghetti and warm bread). Somehow the 10 morsels of crusty bread you see here is supposedly 2 servings/$10 worth of bread service. Somehow the entire meal you see here is nearly $83!?! But how did it taste after all this? Also not very good. Having poor service, missing items, charging what they charge, and tasting mediocre at best. Quite disappointed

We’ve made a few trips back here. And seems to be slowly falling off. Wanted to like it seeing Caledonia is lacking for restaurants. The service was bad and food good at first. Now the food seems to be going down hill. There is no quality control at all for supposedly have a chef in the back. The meatballs are extremely inconsistent, there will be one cold, one hot or both cold, never both hot. One meatball will have pockets of black pepper and the other none, like who ever mixes it doesn’t care or can’t handle it. The last time we ordered the bread, it was supposed to focaccia I think, that was raw in the middle and came with about 1/2 teaspoon of oil. We ask for more oil and never got it. The meals either have no seasoning or just pounds of it. Order the ā€˜pork chop’ which I think was pork steak, but was caked with seasoning. Scrapped off a lot of it and the server saw it stacked on my plate and said yeah it shouldn’t have that much but didn’t offer even a sorry. We were down to just ordering pizza, but the last one was half burnt and had so much flour on the bottom it was like eating a mouth full of dry flour. We could hear the guy bartending and the server and a manger maybe talking about who they didn’t like on the staff and food costs. They should keep it down or move that convo to the office. At least I know who they think is inept.

We were coming back from vacation and were looking for some dinner and stopped by for the first time. The host was a little scattered it seemed. There was one couple in front of us and he took them to a table. And we waited… we could see him walking back and forth all over the place and we waited…. Thought the full up, they were about 25% maybe when we arrived. He finally sat us at a table and we waited again. Looked at the menus, our watches, waited. The server finally came, ordered drinks and an app. He comes back with just one drink that was wrong. Flag him down, tell him and he’s like I’ll get those and put in the mussels, but we didn’t order mussels, and correct him again and he was gone for 25 minutes. Another server brought the app but no plates. Finally get drinks and figured we better order meals. The app was almost cold, so it sat back there for awhile I’m assuming. The manager I think brought the meals that were piping hot, so we assumed the app sat due to its temp. Finally got a bill and paid on our phone rather than wait for his return. The shame is the food is really great, we liked the setup of the restaurant, everything on the menu sounds good, but they sure need to cut the dead weight of under-preforming servers. We had plenty of time to watch other servers and they were hustling, assuming ours was off texting in a corner somewhere. He also had white paint on his hands and arms, which made us question cleanliness a bit. The food was so good, we will try again and see if he was just a fluke. Food...

So disappointed! We've wanted to try this place for a while and thought Valentine's day would be the perfect chance. Our reservation was for 7:45, but when we arrived we were told it would be a few minutes. It ended up being 15 minutes. We were seated at a lovely window table and the ambiance was perfect. It took a few minutes to order, but our order was in by 8:10ish. Then, we waited. And waited. And waited. Our waitress came around 8:45 to tell us our food would be out in a "few minutes." Our food came at 9:08. After waiting an entire hour for our food, our waitress informed us it was because they had to make the sauce for my chicken. My potatoes were hard and unedible. The pizza was okay. We did inform our waitress about the terrible potatoes and they took 50% off that meal, so we at least had that. By the time we finished, it was 9:30. I had no idea a 7:45 reservation would mean nearly two hours from start to finish. We won't be back. It felt like they were unprepared and just trying too hard to be fancy. The food was pricey and mediocre at best. The lighting and music made for great ambiance, but that's not enough to get us to...
