Chris' Burgers — Restaurant in California

For fast takeout I give the food 5 stars. Been coming here pretty regularly for 10 years. Consistent quality and the chef is really nice and friendly. The atmosphere is a 2 at best and the place is in fair to poor condition (very dated, not too clean). The customer service is a 1 star from the lady who owns it. The older gentleman is a little better but a greeting of Hello with a smile, and a thank you once you pay would go a long ways with me. I love to support the independent family business but would appreciate a friendly atmosphere. Like I said, been a regular at this place and today the lady charged me .50 cents for a water cup. I know it's only .50 cents but come on...really? Whens the last time you were charged for a cup of water? I frequent Zorbas across the street and always get really friendly service and a much better, cleaner updated atmosphere. ill steer clear of Chris's Burgers for a while and maybe it...

I ordered a double hamburger small fries and the teriyaki plate with chicken and steak.

The hamburger and fries were ok.

I took a couple bites of the teriyaki and couldn't eat anymore. Maybe it was the smell of the cabbage that was put into it. I dont know why cabbage was put in my teriyaki plate anyways.

Not gonna lie, I've had way better and this was my 1st time here.

The interior needs a good cleaning. The fan has dark fuzziness all over it and same with the electronics I've noticed.

Let's start off with the fact this place has a pretty good Steak Sandwich. They cook the steak the way you want and you can add to it (like bacon, extra mayo etc). This place serves both American style Food and Chinese food. I tried some of their Chinese food and it was actually pretty good but I still prefer the Steak Sandwich. Its a quiet little place with friendly owners and staff. They have booths so you can sit down and relax while you eat and they also have the standard chairs and tables if you are just wanting to plop down, grub down and head out.
