Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in California

Dutch Bros. in Manteca has a ton of energy! The staff were super friendly and helpful, which is always a plus. They definitely have something for everyone - the menu offered a huge variety of drinks, from protein coffee to shakes and lemonades. They even have hot cocoa and sparkling water for those who might not be coffee fans. In the past, I've enjoyed their iced coffees and shakes, so I had high hopes.

However, this visit was a bit of a mixed bag. First, be prepared to wait on a Sunday afternoon. With two drive-thru lines going, it took us about 15-20 minutes to get our drinks.

Second, my chai latte was a letdown. I specifically requested light ice, but the cup was filled with a lot of ice with little chai. More importantly, it was missing the promised flavors of cinnamon and cardamom. It tasted mostly like sugary water.

On the bright side, my friend's Golden Eagle looked and tasted amazing! It was a creamy, decadent drink loaded with vanilla, caramel, and whipped cream. They offer three sizes (small, medium, and large) to suit your needs.

Overall, Dutch Bros. gets high marks for friendly service and a massive selection of drinks. However, my chai experience fell flat. If you go, maybe skip the chai and try one of their other offerings, like the Golden Eagle or a tasty shake (based on past experiences). Just be prepared for a wait...

I went here the other day Tuesday 04/23 around 6pm. I was ordering the drinks and the guy who was taking my order told me the total was around $11 so I used my card to pay and I asked him if I needed to sign anything. He told me no I don’t. So then I look at my phone and I got charged $12.19 and I didn’t add a tip myself, so I told the guy at the window , he told me he was sorry and that he’ll refund the tip that was taken out of my checking account, and also add 3 free drinks on my Dutch bros app account. And I went today to get two drinks & use only one free drink. I was told that I did not have any free drinks . So I’m pretty upset. No one should be tipping themselves because they want to. That is not cool. I’m usually generous and will tip but for someone to just take it upon themselves to add a tip without my permission then have someone lie about giving me 3 free drinks is rude and ridiculous. So please make sure if you use Apple Pay or your card that you make sure the total they tell you matches the amount you got...

My husband and I like dutch bros and we go to the one in stockton. We were in Manteca and stopped by since it just opened. Unfortunately the way they decided to make this(location/design) is frustrating. One, its between two car lots right across from 7eleven so watch out if you're not a local. Two, there was an employee at the entrance guiding in cars because if the cars go in without supervision the cars exiting will end up stuck until the line moves. Three, the line reminds me of a track field, it takes you all the way around and four, even though there was two lanes it did no good. We got there at 7:10 and left officially at 7:48. I understand they just opened and it seemed like they were training two others but maybe next time I'll skip or unless the line is small. They have a small menu after the two lanes but if anything just ask someone who knows or try it in stockton those employees know a more since its been...
