The employees are generally nice, there is sometimes a bit of a wait, even for something as simple as a milkshake but overall good place and good food
I used to like this particular Jack in the Box because it was close to me. My previous review was from 4 years ago but tI have downgraded it. I became a fan of the breakfast platter a while ago and we would get it for dinner on Sudays. I started using the drive-thru during the pandemic and would get 2 breakfast platter combos and usually other stuff. Almost every single time they would forget the additional hash brown that comes with the combo. I had to drive back a couple of times until I started checking it before driving off. One time the cook came to confront me at the window (as if I was lying), then she looked up and checked their screen and said "oh, you order combo?" then walked away to go make the missing hash browns. I lost count of how many time they would leave things out of the order and I had to pull up to a parking spot and wait, most of the time it was the same girl that would take my order. Sometimes I would go early to try to avoid her she was always there it seem, even on weekdays during the day. I finally got tired of the repeated mistakes after many many months and started driving to other Jack' that were further away.
Today, my son had a dental procedure and we were both hungry so I decided to try them again. I ordered 2 breaskfast platter combos, strips combo and a sourdough chicken combo. I had a coupon for $2 for a regular size shake( for my son). I got the food and the same girl at the window said have a nice day. I checked to make sure the hash brown was there, got home and realized she didn't give me the milkshake. I drove back to the drive thru, it sounded like a different person taking the orders this time and I said I recently ordered and was missing a milkshake. Since I was there again I figured I would order 2 chicken fajita pitas and nuggets for later. At the window I show my receipt and ask if the other girl that had helped was still there. The petite girl (the same person that always messes up my order, btw) comes to the window and asks if I didn't get the milkshake. I told her she never gave it to me. She goes to make the milkshake and I told the other girl that maybe she gave it to someone else and she laughed and said "no". I got the milkshake and my new order and no apology was offered. This was a reminder of why I stopped going to THIS jack in the box. They still don't have their act...
Read moreI placed a mobile order at this Jack In the Box while I was in the parking lot. I I push Prepare food and then pulled into the drive-through to get my food. They handed us a bag and hassled us about the amount of condiments we wanted she said she was out of ranch. I ordered pancakes tacos and french fries I think asking for ranch ketchup and syrup is not out of line it is an appropriate amount of condiments to ask for I think anyone would agree. After hassling us about our condiment order we pulled out of the parking lot and realize she shorted us two tacosAnd all of our food was extremely cold. We turned around to go back through the drive-through I told Gloria about the food being cold and being shorted two tacos and she told me there was nothing she could do about it and it wasn’t her problem. I asked her why she couldn’t do anything about it and she continue to give me attitude and treat me with disrespect right in front of my two children ages two and four. I will never go to the Jack in the Box again The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. She didn’t offer to do anything to help me with the cold food that she serve me. I could understand if I was late picking up my order but I wasn’t I was in the parking lot when I placed my orderAlready in the drive-through so tell me why she would be able to do anything about this. I don’t ask for much from these fast food places and honestly I don’t like the fight. Especially not in front of my kids my babies babies. But seriously there’s nothing she can do??? Her name is Gloria and she’s extremely rude cold...
Read moreThe absolute dirtiest fast food spot in all of Sacramento.. moved a few months ago to this part of Sac, was happy to see a Jacks close by, went there a good number of times until I started noticing that the workers never wear gloves and will literally hold exposed tacos in their hands for around 10 mins as they wait to throw them on the grill machine, COMPLETELY unhygienic and GROSS. I politely asked to cancel my tacos afterwards, didn't want them remade, just refunded and the worker got offended at me for not wanting to eat tacos they were holding in their bare hands for 10 mins. I'm not expecting Cheesecake Factory quality food at all, but I can't accept this level of dangerous health practices... Last time I went was a month ago in a late night emergency case, decided to order the breakfast platter... Food was undercooked and had me in the hospital the next morning vomiting blood and I could feel the undercooked sausage and eggs killing me the whole time. Will never eat at Jacks ever again. Please don't eat here if you like staying alive. Dead serious. And to the manager replying to these messages, no I will not reach out to you guys AGAIN since all you do is either ignore the message after, or just offer me a coupon for some more exposed handheld dirty tacos. I'm...
