I found out just today that in order to participate in karaoke it is now required to buy alcoholic drinks. However my stepped in and his wife do not drink alcohol at all but they love to sing karaoke. My stepdad has a back injury that requires certain medications that cannot be mixed with alcohol and his wife as evel up C which with her medications as she was to drink alcohol it could quite possibly kill her. When I told that to the bartender she said it didn't matter they were still going to in force by an alcoholic drinks in order to attend karaoke. We are being discriminated against because we do not drink alcohol so we could no longer sing in karaoke yet only those who buy alcohol are allowed to participate. That is discrimination not only gives the fact that we don't drink alcohol but also discrimination based on our medical disabilities and on top of that my stepdad should designated driver so even as a doesn't native driver which by law is not supposed to drink alcohol he can no longer participate and karaoke. Also quite possibly instead of enforcing alcohol rule they intend to enforce a cover charge in order to attend karaoke. The karaoke is listed as free karaoke to the public so how can the bar even think about forcing people to buy alcohol just to seen karaoke or forcing them to pay a cover charge just singing karaoke when we are not having to pay to participate in the karaoke why are we being discriminated against and made to where we can no longer she in karaoke there because we hafta buy alcoholic beverages which we don't even...

It's truly unfortunate. If the ownership spent a little money on scrubbing the nicotine off every surface in there, gave it a face lift, possibly partnered with the 2 or 3 neighboring restaurants right next door to offer food, they could bring this place back to life. It's adjacent to the newest luxury movie theater in SacTown, lots of residential and multifamily housing, employment centers like Kaiser, Town & Country Plaza, Costco, etc. People like to get off work and grab a drink together or grab a drink before seeing a movie.
I am not a fan but I could be. The Pied Piper has potential. Truly, outside of that they really just need some directional signs to inform patrons that parking is provided for in the rear. The front lot only accommodates a handful of cars (maybe 8-10) and is shared with at least 3-4...
