Jack in the Box — Restaurant in California

I went inside to order because the drive thru line was a bit long... like 5-6 cars. However there was someone outside taking orders. I walk to the counter and wait to be acknowledged at minimum. NOTHING. I shuffle around reading the menu and stuff on walls, etc... still nothing. There are about 7 people working and not even a head nod. I cross my arms, sawing back and forth in an attempt to show my son a good example of patience and understanding for those who work in fast food. I know it's not always easy breezy. Do, there's a woman behind the register and she's just opening paper bags, not really doing anything. She looks me in my face, turns away and walks off. By this time it's been almost 6 mins of me standing here, being ignored by everyone working. So I say, hello, are we not taking my order. Still noone comes to take my order. So after depleting the teaspoon of patience I had, I told my son let's go. And I walk out. Swear to God, as I'm walking out a girl is already a foot from the counter and all of a sudden, someone goes to the counter to take her order. WOWWWW!!! REALLY?!?!? I wanted to go back and act a fool but decided to say what i think it really was.... BECAUSE IM BLACK. Real talk, that's what I felt the entire ride home they ignored me because I'm black. I prefer Jack in the Box over McDonalds because food is better, Burger King because their menu is way over priced, Wendy's because I haven't seen an open one for years, and Sonic because their prices are close to what one would expect from a restaurant but menu is fast-food with order to go or provide my own table via the car sitting in the Sun. You would think all the money they are saving not having seating and cooling costs that they could lower their over inflated cost structure. Their malts or milk shakes are $10 dollars for a large but half price after 8pm. They are no doubt making a profit when the offer it after 8pm for half price. In other words, they are ripping off the customer in a big way except after 8pm. I recently discovered that their headquarter is base out of Oklahoma. The state that is last how much they pay a teacher like $30000 dollars less. Average teacher only makes $24000 a year. Check on Sonic salaries in their corporate offices and they start around $25000. Even McDonald's starting salary in their corporate offices start no less than $55000. Support business that offers a living wage not a poverty...

We had ordered through the drive through and asked for 2 large caramel iced coffees while the employee was taking our order he had asked us to speak louder so we did and then when we pulled up to get our food he had given us one large and one reg iced coffee we kindly told the employee their he had gotten our iced coffee size wrong on one he said we didn't tell him that we've should of told him when he specifically asked us to speak louder we told him we asked for 2 large iced coffees this is the first time we encounter a rude employee like this he could of been like I'm sorry sir let me go ahead and fix it but no he argued back with us very unprofessional he was short Hispanic with blond hair very unprofessional I myself work at a fast food place and I know how to react to an unpleased customer come on people be more professional next time especially when you yourself are working graveyard come on now get it...
