Fosters Freeze — Restaurant in California

Very very poor service. I went to this restaurant and ordered 3 small sundae’s. I go to the window to pick up my order immediately when I picked up my sundaes I noticed 1 of them had a hair on it & instead of the manager coming to talk to me she sends one of her employees up to me to give me my money back.

I was extremely confused. Not once did I receive an apology. The tone of voice from the employee and the manger gave off that it was possibly my fault for having a hair in my sundae when I didn’t get walk 3 feet away from the window when I noticed it.

The manager then proceeds to tell me that she didn’t think I would be satisfied if they made me a new sundae. She ASSUMED I wasn’t going to be satisfied and that I would want my money back. Making me feel as If I had done something wrong. Meanwhile I had a very respectable attitude towards them.

After I explained to her that I just wanted a new sundae. She make it over and sends me on my way.

I went in today , they had several customers. The owner was already in a bad mood due to being busy. I gave her my order and payed her. She didn't give out no receipt or asked for a name, which would have been a good option since she had a lot of customers at time. She named what I thought was 2 of my twisters & I took them since no one else said anything at the time and not knowing they were the wrong sizing at time. A few minutes later a couple ask for them and the lady rudely ask us if I have taken since it was only 2 not the whole order. She questioned and asked for them back and I explained that how would have known.I don't know the sizing and I tried explaining that I would pay for the extra of it, if was more, she ignored me and embarrassed me infront of all the other customers. I think she she could handle her clients better , if when busy giving out a numer or calling order by name so this doesn't happen to another customer. The flavor of the scream is amazing but I found only one problem which can be a really bad thing for customers... the cash only hand written sign outside the window. Idk if corporate knows about this but we don’t know how we get charged. I have come here every other they for the past month and today I got charged an extra dollar for the same order. When I asked for a receipt, there’s no details of the charges. Just a list of numbers adding to the price the guy at the window came with. I’m a small businessman and just to think that for every customer they could be getting an extra dollar on their order then I’m not supporting this place anymore. Honesty always first.
