Jimbo's - 4S Ranch — Restaurant in California

I've been to this store a few times now and have had a great experience every time. They have a juice bar where you can get fresh green juices made to order, smoothies, food made to order, etc. The person in the bakery/juice area today (Brenda?) was friendly and accommodating and made me an amazing Beetox juice. I had one item to return from the health and wellness section, but no one was around that area. I walked up to Robert(?) who was at the customer service desk and was delighted that he offered to help me out with it. The cashier with short hair and glasses is always a pleasure to deal with as well. I wish every store had employees like Jimbo's. I see that some reviews compare Jimbo's to Whole Foods. My take is that Jimbo's is what Whole Foods can only dream of being. Whole Foods is already a shell of its former self and leagues away from being a Jimbo's. Jimbo's is the best representation of a local business.

The selection at Jimbo's is small but mighty. They carefully curate their products and I do truly get the sense that they only sell what they feel are the best products. The produce and meats are always super fresh. All their produce is local which I love! Their employees are the icing on the cake. They are always friendly and helpful.

Jimbos prices are significantly higher than other grocery stores, including Whole Foods. Why? I will not continue to give them my business as long as this price gouging continues. They do not offer price matching. Time and time again I have bought items from Jimbos and go to other grocery stores where I have found that same exact item for much less. Whole Foods is considered to be one of the most expensive grocery chains and I find that their prices are consistently lower than Jimbos. For what reason? And to add on top of that I have to deal with unprofessional, unhelpful and downright rude staff every time I go into this store and other Jimbos stores nearby.
