My daughter is not a stranger to Kiki's, she frequents them often and gets rewarded with a free Kiki's item. Overall, we've had great experiences with the Kiki's on Auburn Boulevard. I don''t know why today was a real bummer and a deal breaker for me,...mom! I run to grab her, her favorite from time to time for lunch and today I called in the order and a 10-15 minute wait is typical and acceptable because they give me a ready time over the phone. I sat and waited for 40 minutes at the window, after I paid, which I believe I was overcharged for, I generally have a ballpark figure of the prices and today's price was much higher than what I've normally paid in the past. When I finally got my order the girl handed it to me in a plastic bag with the container in a vertical position, so my order all slid to he bottom and into the bag, when I took my fountain drink the lid was not on and spilled onto my console of my brand new car!! SMH and being a woman of God, I am really trying to keep my cool, at that point I dropped an eff bomb as I'm watching pepsi run out and into my console. I turned back around to the girl and I said, you all should give her a free Kiki fries for this inconvenience and she offered me a free drink which I told her I already paid for a drink and I tried to be understanding since she said they had a large order that had just came in, but mind you my order was placed over the phone and that is why it was taking so long...moral of the story is that I told her, I know it is not your fault and she said,, we're going through it in here too and I will be telling my manager. My daughter's lunch had passed and I rushed off, later I looked at my receipt and realized that it was not itemized it was only showing the total. Now, I know why she gave me the old deer in the headlights look when I told her, I already ordered a drink. I am disappointed and I myself, will be contacting the manager. Read moreYesterday I called at 1:01p this restaurant in advance so I didn't have to wait for my order, they advised me that my order would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived at 1:15pm I had to wait 15 minutes for my order. When my order came it was wrong. The cashier was polite and said keep the wrong order and we will make the correct order in 5 minutes. I had to wait another 15 minutes for my order to be done at 1:32p. As we waited that 15 minutes, my 4 year old daughter was eating the food that was made wrong, when the cashier came to my table and asked for the food back at the request of the assistant manager "(Perry) he wants to see the food". The cashier took the food off the table. My daughter starting crying so I offered to purchase the food at half cost, which he said ok. I left the store with both orders and they were both disgusting with too much sauce on the fries and the chicken had a slime on it even though it was fried. I came to this same restaurant yesterday with the manager there and the food and service was great...this was bad so bad I now feel sick. 2:17p I called the restaurant to let them know this food made me very sick. The cashier who answered the phone was polite, friendly, and apologetic. I threw up all over my car and pee'd myself from gagging. I went back to the restaurant at 2:21p to return the food for a full refund. I had my airpods in my ears so the supervisor (female) said I was being loud and when I called cursed the cashier out...NOT TRUE! The cashier was polite and it wasn't her fault the food made me sick. I simply said ok please let me get my refund and leave there's no need for any conversation at this point...After receiving my refund the female supervisor advised me I am no longer allowed to return. I will be following up with the manager or corporate office to make sure no one is ever treated...
Read moreWe haven't been going into this location for a long time now. We went in close to the end of February 2021 and then again today. Last time we went in, they didn't check the order. Just threw it in the bag. Wouldn't let me check the order. It ended up being wrong. When I called in to complain, they told me that I had to take the wrong order back (during Covid.....not like they are going to be able to hand it out to customers. Or reuse the items.) Then, when they redid my tots, the employee making the order starts busting up laughing and asked me if I wanted the order hot. I lost it. I told the employee and the manager, "I want a refund if you think this is funny. I can't get an order right and now you want it wrong again? Why? So you can have the free food instead of it being wasted. Just refund my whole order at this point." The manager told the employee to shut it and make the order right.
Today, 4 to 5 weeks later, I called in an order. I got there, after being told it would be ready in 10 to 15. My order hadn't even been put in the line to be made and they had people parking in the cross hatch for disabled parking spot, non disabled vehicle parked in disabled parking spots and parking in the drive thru blocking call in orders from using the drive thru.
I wanted my order and they kept asking me to replace my order. No! I ordered it and instead, they wanted it reordered and my order wasn't even put in. Just sitting on the counter. Waiting on me coming in. Then they put it in. It was frustrating. The location has gone downhill. Love them as a company. Just tired of being treated like our money doesn't mean anything to the employees. Hate their competitors. But, the competition is looking better and better when employees treat...
