Looked up on Google because I was hungry to find a pizza nearby and Mountain Mike's was close by, I get there at 9:00 p.m. and on the website it states that the establishment closes at 10:00 p.m. with that being said we order a pizza they said it would have to be taken to go because by the time it will be finished cooking the restaurant closes... no big deal as we're waiting for a pizza I observe the walls. Just a couple big screen TVs and no artwork whatsoever. No alcohol decor, sports memorabilia all the things etc and this by far has been the most boringest plainest Mountain Mike's I've ever been in. Staff was nice I'm not complaining about that whatsoever. The salad bar was already broken down by 9 p.m. and when I asked to use the restroom one of the staff members told me I could not use it because the floors were wet which is fine and said I had to wait 5 minutes before I could use it no big deal I use the restroom when the 5 minutes was up, after I did my business I tried to flush the toilet and the toilet handle was hanging by a thread and there was no way to flush it so I literally had to take off the tank cover and pull up the handle on the inside of the tank to flush the toilet. Everything was nice and clean in here. Even in the restaurant itself, but going forward this is just constructive criticism, I am by no means not still going to pay for Mountain Mike's because I love their Pizza. I just hope that management can fix these really easy issues and not close so damn early or close...
Read moreI used the Mountain Mike's App to buy lunch today for pickup at the Orangevale, CA location. I used two of my earned rewards; $10 off my purchase, and a free side. About 5 minutes after I placed the order I received a phone call from an employee at the restaurant stating that my order was being cancelled by the owner and that the location will not be accepting any rewards from the Mountain Mike's App.
While my money was refunded, and rewards returned, I'm hungry and angry. If they don't want to participate in the rewards program, they should be removed from the app. I feel bad using the reward at another location, because it feels unfair for me to burden them with a reward that should have been used at the location I normally buy pizza from at full price.
I have been a loyal customer to Mountain Mike's for over 10 years and just started using the app. While I find it frustrating that I can't use online coupons, I found the rewards program attractive, so I started using it. In less than a month I have purchased $243.61 in pizza with a total discount of $35.84 using the app (including today's purchase). That is a little more than a 14% discount in total.
A 14% discount is nothing to throw a fit over, and losing a customer over it, isn't only bad business, it's stupid, and probably against their agreement with Mountain...
Read moreThis is location happened to be on the way home from my son’s karate classes. Used my points/rewards that I’ve collected over the last couple of months. Pretty much zeroed out my bill for a XL pizza, wings, and 1 2 liter soda. Total of $70. (Already a crazy amount.)
I went to go pick it up and got shamed by an employee, older Indian man who I assume is the owner. He snickered, shook his head, and was obviating disgusted by something. So I asked him if he’s ok, is there something wrong. Then he goes on about how I collected all these points, why I purchase else where but claim the points here. I was so thrown off, but I collected the order and walked out. No professionalism. He had a chance to explain it in a kind way, how the rewards hurt his location. But something tells me he would have had no problem if it was the other way around.
Take your money, take your...
