I just went to Papa Murphy s tonight. I got there 15 minutes from close and was almost turned away by the rude, what appeared to be manager. There was another kind employee working there who wound up being the one who made my pizzas. I understand it was late but my pizzas were very easy one with one topping and the other two toppings. It took no more than 10 minutes to finish and I tipped them considerably well ($10) all things considered. As I waited the rude girl started slamming down cleaning items, towels and such without a thought of customer service. I’ve worked in customer service from the bottom to the management top and understand all avenues of it. If I walked in and saw how over the top the employee acted I would have let her go immediately. Customer service is not an easy job and things happen daily to throw you off your game (I have 30+ years of experience . 2 as a newer employee and 20+ as management). Trust I’ve dealt with people throwing things at you and following you to your car. It pays to remember your job deals with the customer and remember to talk to others the way you want to be talked to. Wish I would have gotten names because I would have reached out and offered one a job. Apparently the moral to the story is don’t come in 15-20 minutes before the close time because you’ll be treated like scum. Read moreI paid $30 for a pizza that I had to cook myself and that they messed up, not once, but twice. I ordered a half and half pizza making it very clear on the phone that half was to have NO meat and NO a cheese due to half the consumers being vegan. I made sure to be clear because I’ve had this mistake happen many times before at many restaurants. I picked up the first pizza and clarified that it was what I had wanted, the girls reassuring me that it was accurate. I got home only to realize that the whole pizza had pepperoni underneath all the vegetables. I called back explaining the mistake and the dietary restrictions involved. They said they could give me a 30% discount for a second pizza (on pizza THEY messed up on!!). I pressed the concern that this was a mistake and I needed a new order that was accurate. Finally a manager got on the phone and assured me it would taken care of and took my new order. I arrived and took my new pizza which was half covered on cheese!! I kindly explained what vegan meant and they said they would not substitute out again. I left and had to throw half the pizza away since obviously my multiple conversations didn’t resonate what the word vegan meant to them and I’m normally very understanding of mistakes but this was beyond inconsiderate. I called to ask a question as what I wanted wasn't explicitly included or excluded in the coupon. a rather impatient young woman answered my call and after explanation, she was very impatient and adamant that what I wanted from the menu was possible. Upon going into the store, the same person helped me and was incredibly rude and suddenly couldn't do the same thing she spent 10 minutes on the phone insisting was possible. Today I phoned in an order for a regular menu large pizza and a gentleman helped me. When I got into the establishment, i found out that the woman from a month ago was helping me. She would not allow me to use a coupon. When I asked why, it was because she had changed the regular large pizza to a different but similar promotional pizza. When I informed her that isn't what I ordered and I wanted to receive and pay for what I actually ordered, I was told that it would be at least 30 minutes when the remainder of my order was already complete and it was already over 30 minutes past my call in order for a regular large pizza.
