Just terrible! The staff working the morning of Saturday February 18th 2023 is the absolute worse. Waited over 20 minutes for a small cappuccino and received a boiling hot drink impossible to drink. I didn’t even get to have a sip 5 mins after and it completely burned my mouth! Not exaggerating, I’ve never had a hotter drink in my entire life! I never write negative reviews but my experience was so bad and the staff at this location were all over the place not knowing what they’re doing and having no regard whatsoever for their customers. The line kept getting longer and longer, staff had zero situational awareness, no apology just a terrible experience. I ordered a bacon and cheese bagel and the girl who rang me up told a girl named Atkins to get my sandwich but she just disregarded and kept walking around doing absolutely nothing. I waited and waited and waited just to be finally told by Atkins they don’t have any bacon!! I had to get a refund and continued to wait for my coffee, people who ordered after me were getting their drinks and I and another girl who ordered before me kept waiting. Unacceptably slow service for an airport location!!! If your staff is untrained have one trained person on hand at all times to avoid disasters. If I could give negative stars I would. The girl named Atkins was more concerned about her coworker’s pants, chit-chatting and walking around than to help customers. The guy who refunded my bagel (manager I assume because he was in the back) is the one who made my coffee BURNING HOT after I complained and was visibly upset about the long wait. This is not how you treat your customers! The girl who ordered before me was still there waiting for her drink after I finally got mine and no one asked her what she’s waiting for. They made a few drinks double because there was no communication between the workers. No system in place, chaotic and very disorganized. If the male worker who refunded my bagel is in fact the manager he’s terrible at his job. He didn’t step in to help his staff, he never apologized for the long wait, just walked around unbothered. Train your staff to handle high volume customers and make proper drinks. With 4 people behind the counter you’d think they’ll be working smoother but no one seemed to bother or have regard for the long line. The barista guy seemed new and overwhelmed and no one was there to help him. Any other coffee place will have my business at any opportunity going forward but...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences ever! My daughter and I just flew back in to Sacramento and needed some coffee. This was about 10:30 on a Sunday morning. I received my small vanilla latte but then waited until every other customer had received their drinks and left. We were the only customers left and the girl (named Hail) asked us if we were waiting for a drink. I said yes and that it should have been received about the time I got my latte. Instead of apologizing and saying that she would get right on it she said, “Ok, give me a minute,” as if she was doing us a favor! Then she proceeded to have a conversation with another girl. Customer service did not seem to be a priority with her. My daughter finally got her small caramel macchiato and there was no apology for the wait. The girl was very snarky. My daughter’s macchiato was terrible—mostly foam. The difference in weight between my latte and her drink was remarkable! I wanted to go back and have Hail or perhaps another girl redo the drink, but my daughter reminded me of the time and that we had to catch a ride that was waiting for us. I did tell them this was terrible and we would not be coming back. I recommend waiting in the Starbucks line at the other end of the terminal. You will be happier with your drink. Stay away...

This morning at 5 AM, before it was even my turn in line, I witnessed Kimberly, the woman working the counter, treat multiple customers with clear disrespect. At first, I thought it might just be her tone, but soon it became obvious that it was racially motivated.
Customers who appeared Hispanic or Asian were spoken to harshly, dismissively, and rudely. Meanwhile, customers who looked different were greeted with smiles, kindness, and a welcoming attitude.
One young man in line (photo attached) and a young woman before him were made to feel extremely uncomfortable. Everyone in line noticed the difference in how they were treated. It was painful to watch, and it should not happen in a place where people of all backgrounds come to start their day.
If someone cannot treat all cultures with respect, they should not be in a position of customer service. In 2025, we should be far past this racism is unacceptable. We are all equal, and no one deserves to feel “less than” when they walk into a...
