I downloaded this app and several others as its hard to find someone that will deliver to Shafters main area. Low and behold this app offered a select few restaurants from Bakersfield that would be willing to allow their food to be delievered into Shafter. After ordering $120.00 worth of food from Frugattis, I got a call from someone at Resturant Runners who explained to me that they don't deliver out to Shafters main area but only to New Shafter which is closest to 93312...I said well it gave me the option of using your service.
I put in my exact address if thats the case your app should have stated that as the other apps do.
Regardless she said we will honor this order this once because they were slow right now but other than that it isn't profitable for our drivers to go out that far...i cancelled my order out of offense. You would think that during this time that we are in lockdown and so many families are struggling financially someone would have been fine dropping off food for a $15 tip on the app and the cash tip that they would have gotten in person.

Read moreBoooo! My 88 yr old blind mother ordered from sizzler a few nights ago. The order never was delivered. Mom called Sizzler, a rep there told her Restaurant Runner is NOT PAYING THEIR BILL, so the order couldn’t be completed. Fast forward to today. My mom called again to order some ice cream from Dewar’s. She was told RR no longer delivers to her address, specifically. She called back to ask why and was given no answer. I called Restaurant Runner myself to inquire. I was told I was being transferred to a manager. After ten minutes on hold, I gave up. Mom got her ice cream. I ordered it from Door Dash, ice cream from Baskin Robins. Everyone looses. Restaurant Runner lost a customer who has been a loyalist since they opened, the driver as my mom tips generously, Dewars, as they lost a customer.
