ROYAL T CAFE — Restaurant in California

This is my poke bowl from Royal T Cafe in Manteca! 😊 I was in the area and I was craving for some poke hehe This was a cute little spot that also sells other food like sandwiches and breakfast items and drinks too! I liked how customers could customize their bowl with whatever ingredients they want on a laminated paper with a marker! It definitely is an eco friendly way to reduce waste! ♻️ I got the smallest sized bowl which came with three scoops of protein! I got the salmon, ahi tuna, and shrimp! I liked how the shrimp was kinda like ceviche style and not like other poke places I’ve gone to hehe it was good! The salmon was a nice, darker orange and tasted yummy! The ahi tuna was great too! The other toppings were great, like the seaweed salad, yum 😋 I also liked how this place does mango as well, so I included that in my bowl too! It was cool to try something sweet in my poke bowl! I was very ill and needed something easy, healthy and close to where I lived so i was extremely happy when I found Royal T Cafe was a 5 minute walk. Starting off, the atmosphere was vibrant green and cozy, definitely a chill place for a casual meal. The soups are delicious and I was pleasantly suprised at how wholesome the carrot ginger soup was. I have also tried her recommendation of a pomegranate smoothie and was amazed at the simplicity yet natural sweetness of it! I felt like they didn't know the menu. When I ordered they said they weren't sure what it was. They came around to read the menu and input it. We ordered three drinks, two with jelly and one matcha strawberry. One beverage had the wrong jelly even though both were the same and the strawberry matcha was just strawberry milk. I could see from the drink that there was no matcha but the whole interaction was confusing so we just left. They were nice enough, just didn't seem knowledgeable about the business. Maybe...
