STAR CRAB — Restaurant in California

I called in while driving home from work to order a seafood boil. Immediately Natasha if that is actually her name answered the phone with an attitude. She then asked me if i was okay because i didnt appreciate her attitude. I responded can i speak to her manager and she proceeded to hang up the phone in my face. Once I got to the location I asked who hung up in my face because it was two ladies standing they both stated they didnt do it . Then natasha stated that the call was going in and out then she stated i mocked her which why would i mock someone who is taking my food that makes absolutely no sense. To make it short she completely lied and it is just ridiculous that a customer was treated like this. Im unsure how would she hear me mocking her if the call was going out and she wasnt able to hear me. To whoever the manager is of this place please train your employees to treat it like a job and not hang up in customers face. I am...

I went on 12/6/24. Full disclosure, I love Boiling Crab (BC) but I dont have one near me. This place is about a 15min drive and is a close 2nd. Got 1 pound of shrimp and paid about $19. Did not get any extras since I was taking it home & I can boil my own potatoes & steam my own rice. The flavors are good. I only got one salt/pepper (mostly salt) but my fault, I should've asked for more. I didn't get a table cover or bib, but I don't know if they offer it or not. One thing came to mind, is it really a pound? I felt like it was missing a shrimp or 2. :) I eat this type of food often and it felt like less BUT I shall trust them. I gave the atmosphere a low star because it was empty at 6:30pm on a Friday night. Seemed sketchy. BC always has a line, well the one in Korea Town does. I placed an order and the girl name nazarih gave me headless shrimp which she didn’t know that I wanted regular peeled shrimp. She had horrible customer service in the end and the communication was off not once but twice. She hung up on me when I called to express myself after my aunt and I followed her instructions on how to resolve the issue (HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!!!) thank god she hung up and the right person answered the phone. The manager answered and resolved the issue so quickly and professionally. My aunt Taylor and my sister jasmine love him! He is amazing.
