Starbucks — Restaurant in California

This one star is for the young lady that worked the drive through on 11/21 in the evening. On our drive home we stopped to get coffee like we usually do because we like this Starbucks, as we came up to the window where you pay there was a tip box there with a few dollars in it. I was about to turn to my wife and ask her if she had a few dollars to put in as a tip when the young caucasian lady at the window grabbed her tip box and abruptly pulled it inside as if she thought I was going to steal it. She did not do this for the car in front of us. I'm native American not a thieving American and the color of my skin does not make me a thief. We live in Bakersfield and travel to LA to visit family quite often and usually stop on the way down at this Starbucks, and on the way home at this Starbucks and we still will but we will not be using the drive-thru if possible. There is a young man who was the night manager and barista who is great at his job and we like to walk in and converse with him and get our coffee but due to the covid-19 situation this one time we used the drive through. To this young lady from the drive-thru, I apologize for all people of color that have wronged you, to make feel that way...

Standard Starbucks food and drink, but horrible customer service from the barista. I ordered a rather large order for my family (so did my duty as a patron), and wanted to grab some water as well. I said "excuse me" 4 times to the barista, and she ignored me (The woman next to me looked confused about it as well, so I know I was loud enough), and then finally I had to wave my hand in her face to get her attention (she was less than 2 feet away from me). When she did look at me, she gave me a smug look and simply said, "yes?" I asked if she could fill my water bottle up, and she said, "give me a minute," and turned and walked away. Another (very kind) man came over and then helped me. There was no one behind me, and it didn't appear busy. I don't know if I somehow offended this girl who is in a customer service position by my "excuse me's," but regardless, the mid-20's, dark haired girl with brown eyes, working the morning shift (I believe her name started with a C…?) on Tuesday, 5/21, was extremely rude. If management is reading this please remind her that if a customer politely says "excuse me," she has chosen a position where she is obliged to acknowledge the customer and ask how she can...

The perfect stop for a latte and breakfast sandwich whenever on a road trip north on the 5 freeway. You don't have to get out of your car either since they have a drive thru. I've had only wonderful customer service here, both in the drive thru and inside. They are quick and get your order right.

My starbucks go-tos are: Venti Latte w/coconut milk and reduced-fat turkey bacon and egg sandwich. I love coconut everything and that slight hint of coconut flavor in my latte makes it perfect. I always get venti to sip on it for much longer than a grande or tall could offer. The breakfast sandwich is so good and slightly guilt free.

I would also recommend the matcha green tea latte with coconut milk, which comes unsweetened and I love it this way. Less sugar is the smarter choice.

Sometimes I indulge with my son and get us some cake pops. They are soooooo good and probably full of sugar. The birthday cake and vanilla are our favorites.

Plenty of parking here. Bathroom is a single and kept clean from my experiences. Not too much room to sit and lounge at this Starbucks, but it doesn't seem like this particular location was meant for...
