Denied service on 7/29/23. We give 1 star for being denied the opportunity to order. After a long trip, my family and I were happy to find online a Subway that was open until 11pm. We entered the facility at 10:15pm and stood in line for about 2 minutes. The worker later says, “Oh, we’re closed,” Then he proceeded to make the sandwiches for the couple ahead of us. He continues, “The ‘OPEN’ light is turned off.” We replied, “Oh, the website says 11pm.” To that, we received no reply. As we started to walk out, I overheard the other customer say to the worker, “The sign is turned off! It’s clear you’re closed.” Then they both chuckled. I’m not sure if they are friends, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they knew each other. And the fact that the worker allowed us to walk in and stare at the menu for a bit means that he took some time to debate to himself whether he wanted to serve another customer, or simply close early. He made that decision at that moment. And I’m sure franchises do not honor this type of character in their employees. The picture included in this post is what I took on the way out. It also falsely advertises hours of operation. It’s understood that the employee did not know how hungry my family of five was, but it should be understood that hour of operations should be honored (at least up to 45 mins before closing) because it only takes 5 mins to make a sandwich. If the worker is tired, tired is besides the point. I just think that Subway was under-represented. This post is for everyone to understand that hours posted for this location are not reliable. Think twice before exiting the freeway and wasting your time....
Read moreWe went in this morning. The lady working there should have not been scheduled to work alone because she seemed lost: did not know how to apply a coupon, didn’t seem to know where the lettuce was, did not know basic food safety rules: you just don’t use the same gloves to make a sandwich, ring customer/operate the register, touch other things around and without even changing gloves proceed to make the next sandwich. And when you had customers waiting in line that been waiting for a while (and by the way two customers walked out while we were there) you don’t decide to ask the other employee that just came in how to use a discount....you attend to the customers that have already been waiting for a while first then you should ask any questions...
Read moreNo matter which Subway I go to, I always order Tuna with a good amount of veggies. However this location was not as generous with their veggies on my sandwich, as if she was counting the lettuce n Spinach leaves. I know 3tomatoes, 3cucumbers, but olives were less that 6 olive thin circles, thin sliced Onions were like 6 also. But she did spread them out on bread. Anyhoo the tuna was good even if the veggies were less of and the sandwich felt smaller...
