Burger King — Restaurant in Callaway

The workers are friendly, but the organization is lacking and there is no way this can be categorized as "fast food". The first time I went through the drive-thru and the car in front of me had some kind of issue, so instead of asking it to pull forward and dealing with that, they held myself and many others up for over 20 minutes. My fries were cold, but surprisingly the burger was almost hot, but was an overall poor experience considering how much the combo cost ($12+).

A few weeks later ( 2 days ago), I thought perhaps the first visit was just a one time event and give them a second try. This time I walked and ordered a Whopper w/cheese, fries, and drink to-go. The woman gave me the receipt, but no drink cup. There was already one gentleman who was waiting on his meal. He received his meal and left. A couple who came after me ordered and received their drink cups to pour their own. I asked if I could get my cup to pour my drink while waiting on the food, which I received, but surprise, no cola just carbonation. The fellow who left with his meal came back because they gave him the wrong food. After 20 minutes of waiting, I finally received my meal. Very frustrating when you only have so long to eat before you have to be elsewhere. I like the food, but this was the last time I'm visiting this or the Springfield BK, as they are as slow or worse than this location. McD's and Sonic run...

Went to BK this morning to get croissants and French Ttoast Sticks. We were asked to pull up as our food was being made "fresh". It was brought out less than a minute later. Once we got home, we found our food was a mess. Now I'm aware food never looks like the pictures, lol, but it should at least somewhat resemble them. Not be a complete mystery. Our breakfast sandwiches were smooshed almost flat. They microwaved them so longed the outside was scorched and the cheese had turned to a liquid and soaked into the bread. At this point the sandwiches tasted awful. The french toast sticks were cold, like they were cooked early and just sat under a warmer for most of the morning. When we attempted to call the restaurant, the phone number didn't work, said it was disconnected. 🤷‍♀️ Sadly this was BK #2 for the day, as the one on Bus 98 had no egg for breakfast 🤦🏽‍♀️. It's now 817am, lol. We quit breakfast for the day, and BK....so now my husbands headed back up there, again, with the bag of unidentified sandwiches. The coffee was good tho. 👍 So theres that. I first went to Burger King a while back one day at first opened and no one even answered me at the drive through so I haven't been back till today let me tell you whatever you guys are doing keep doing it you have an amazing staff that is very quick with the food they are friendly and they serve it fast and fresh those guys know what they're doing every one of them are busting their butt and it's really comforting and nice to know that Burger King is back to what it used to be just know that these guys are running the place the way it's supposed to be ran. I say that as someone who has worked in the restaurant industry my whole life. If I could give 10 Stars I would I was blown away at how quick I got my food today and I had a large order and how fresh it was and how friendly both the person who took my money was and the person who gave me my food they were all...
