Kenny's Ribs and Chicken — Restaurant in Calumet Township

Well so it’s impossible to give zero stars so I’ll say that to start. After checking out to the tune of 45 plus bucks for a small wing\tip; small link/tip combo and 2 slices of something that was supposed to be Carmel cake I waited. Noticed everyone who came in after me had cleared out so I went to window without ticket or receipt to enquirer to which the young lady had forgotten all about me and couldn’t locate my order initially in system. Now I’m pretty patient so I didn’t trip about that, things happen. So I waited cause now they had to fry my chicken, no prob. Get my food, get home, anticipating good eating. Number 1, there was more grease than sauce. The chicken bone was black which for those who don’t know that chicken older than me and I’m 41 okay. Cold fries, no sauce, sauce on the side which infuriated me. The Carmel cake taste more like molasses than Carmel. I’ll say this the ribs were okay minus sauce, the flavor was fine and the meat was tender. Subsequently that night I got super bad diarrhea and was just sick to my stomach. I hate that Google makes you give a star. This place needs to do everyone a favor and close. Because they are hit and miss, I've given them a chance or two. Well the last time is the LAST time. I ordered through Uber Eats today at 6:30 with an delivery estimate of 7:15. I slowly watched the time inch in 15 minute increments while the store was "Wrapping up the order" my first driver who I felt very bad for waited for 45 minutes before he canceled. The second driver waited for 20 after she drove 15 mins to the store before finally picking up at 9:15. She arrived with my order and I thought the bag a bit small. I however considered inflation and thought oh well, right? WRONG! After 2 hours they reduced my 3 meal order of Half slab and 2 tips to one very nasty smelling and looking plate of wings and tips. The wings were all sauced but under cooked. One was so bad it looked to still have the flour batter visible. The tips were grey and absolutely tough. You could hear them as I pulled it apart. @Kenny's Ribs you should be ashamed for serving the trash that you sent out of the door. You had two more hours to insure the food was cooked. Do yourselves a favor, Close your doors and save what little reputation...

Terrible!!!! just left there 12/20/24 @ 9:37pm the cashier older lady with braids very disrespectful. Don’t have no type of customer service skills, I walked in she didn’t gave me no eye contact, or said anything to me. And immediately when she looked over at me, I just showed her my phone and said I was there to pick up two DoorDash orders, She yelled at me “lady please give me a minute” so I Stay quiet and was just like wow after five minutes she asked me who I was there for I just showed her my phone, Then she went on and said five minutes, took about 15 minutes, After that, she walks up confirm the orders I said well I have to take a picture of the receipt in order to confirm it she said which one I said the first name then I tried to confirm the second name and I told her I need to Receipt so I can confirm each order she showed me the same receipt that I already took a picture of so I said no I don’t need the first one.
