Shrimp house Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Calumet Township

I have never in my life been anywhere more vile. This was the first time coming to this restaurant and will be my last. The service at this restaurant is disgusting. The girl who works behind the counter continually swore at me and told me to never come back again (trust me, I never will), because I ordered from the lunch time menu after 3:00 pm. First, I didn't realize it was after 3:00 pm. Second, when she said so, I saw that it was only 2 minutes (not exaggerating) after 3:00. The sign that shows the lunch time time frame is probably the size of a sticker tag (i.e. extremely small for the poster it is supposed to be attached to), and it was almost hidden in the mess of papers taped to the wall. NO ONE would see it without already knowing it was there or wasting time searching for it!

This girl needs to be fired. No only for her disgusting attitude, but for how she carries herself, how she represents the place she works, her overall appearance (holes in her pants (not the "fashionable" holes), stains, exposed piercings, messy hair, etc), touching items with her bare hands, sneezing without covering her mouth, and screaming at me and the cook (who was kind enough to let me have the lunch time prices). The other customers that came in after me actually turned around and left when they saw the scene she was making.

None of what I experienced was called for. And in all honesty, I would have just accepted that it was after 3 pm and ordered something else if she would have spoken to me with some respect and like she was raised by humans. Her tirade actually started when the cook said I could have the lunch time prices. I will never go here again, and highly encourage others to think twice before stepping in. This restaurant is dirty and the service this girl provided was beyond disgusting. She only showed that she is a hot ratchet mess. If I could give zero...

Hey everyone sent my son to pickup a small catfish all steaks$15.00, when he returned home it was horseshoe pieces, I got right on phone called back cashier stated she was sorry she should have shown the cook correct pieces🤔anyway she stated come back she was going to drop fresh fish, I arrived it was bagged but opened I ask to see it Now it was 2 small broke piece and 1 steak I asked for refund, the cook NASTY HE TOUCHED FISH I TOUCHED FISH AT HOME, CAHIER TOUCHED FISH THEN THE COOK THEN PUT FISH BACK IN BASKET TO SERVE SOMEONE ELSE, THATS NASTY AND HOW PEOPLE CAN GET REALLY SICK, I HAVEN'T EATEN AT THIS PLACE IN SERVERAL YEAR'S ..THANK GOD BUT IF HE DID THAT IN FRONT OF ME HE HAS BEEN DOING THIS. Do not eat from here I repeat do not eat from here. I went there to get catfish fillets and I knew instantly there was a problem. The batter was not sticking to the fish, then when I broke it apart I'm like this is not catfish on top of that it was mushy. I called the place & sure enough he admitted to it being some knock off fish Swai Catfish he kept saying. He offered to fix me something else I'm like no I want my money back in the beginning he told me he couldn't give it back I was like you are false advertising. Long story short I ended up getting a refund the funny thing is he stated that all the restaurants do it and no one has ever said anything before. I told him no they don't all do it and told him where I go then he retracted& sd all the one's out here. He also asked that I not say nothing yeah right.
