Eatz by Marie — Restaurant in Calumet Township

I am a OTR Truck Driver. Not often do I get the opportunity to get a true "sit down" meal. I stopped for some groceries to fill the fridge and decided I would, since I had plenty of time and was in my bob tail, to get something fresh and warm to eat. There were two options and I thank The LORD I was lead to Eatz by Marie. I ordered The Jerk Taco and The crispy shrimp tacos. Wow!!! Reminded me of home cooked meals. Full flavor in every bite. Fresh ingredients...etc, etc, etc... You know the kind of meal that is soo good you have to stop eating it for a few minutes then come back and fi ish it to make sure it is really that good!! They literally put the nachos on Doritos & don’t tell u. They’re not even understanding that Doritos are made with pork smh. Also if there’s a problem with the food u can’t get your money back but you have to purchase something else at half price. WORST PLACE I’VE EVER SPENT MY MONEY. Actually the Doritos contain PORK, if you had it listed as nachos with Doritos l wouldn’t have ordered it. The fact that I’m from out of town & never been in there in my life should’ve been enough. I wasted 13 dollars bcuz l threw the entire plate in the trash. I really love supporting MY PPL but to say l has to purchase simmering else is down...

I was so excited to try this food. Like extremely excited until I saw this.. this is $30 worth of food? Really? If anything $15 Everyone on my block told me about this place and I was beyond excited. If I saw my food before I left I would've returned it. Maybe I'll give another try or if someone compensates me next time for this meal. Mind you I got 3 orders. Over $90 and they all look like this. My advice...don't walk out that door until you see your food. This can't be the place my block was talking about.
