TL;DR: Fantastic place for a fast, affordable casual lunch/dinner

In the bustling biotech sphere of Kendall, it is difficult to find an affordable, fast, and filling dining option. I was recommended to try DIG when I first moved to Boston, as the "portion sizes were great" and the "food is cooked right then and there". These two things hold true when I tried DIG. I was so full after having one of their Build Your Own Bowls, and the food was delicious. There are many options for both the entrees and the sides, and what is great is that it changes seasonally. Therefore, whenever the menu is updated, a little part of me gets excited to unlock some new flavor profiles. Ordering on the app is quick and easy, which is so helpful when an experiment is quite laborious and I only have 2 minutes to order something quickly. In addition, the app saves the pressure of not knowing what to order when you are the first person in line at the counter, and there is a whole line behind you getting frustrated with your indecision. Plus, if you go there often enough, you will start getting rewards ($5 off, free side such as cornbread or a cookie). The Mac & Cheese is a must have. I also really enjoy the Roasted Cauliflower. One star is a lot! Unhappy team yesterday (6/29) at lunch when arriving to get food I came across a giant queue. When going to the counter to get the food, the girl or robot (I don't know) did the orders and put them in the place but the food piled up because they were from customers who hadn't arrived at the store yet, so after I waited for 10 minutes I I asked her to make mine because I was already at the place waiting, but I was totally ignored by the girl who continued like a robot making dishes without the customer being waiting like me... The situation was ridiculous because time passed and went through more 30 minutes to finally be served. Many stores serve the same way, but if the customer is already waiting, attention is paid so that he is released as soon as possible. I have never been ignored the way I was at a restaurant and I will never go back to this...

RUDE AND IGNORE EMPLOYEES

When I came to take my order, a young and bespectacled employee working there told me it would be ready in 8 minutes. He delivered my order to me after 25 minutes even though I asked many times. This is an absolutely awful place. I'm sure there isn't a manager here, and if this store has a manager, the situation is much worse. When I asked the employee why did you make me wait so long, he said if you don't want it, you should cancel it. That was a very rude and despicable answer. As I was leaving the store, they mockingly shouted “Bye” to the young and other fat woman who worked in that store behind me. This is a place that self-respecting people should definitely not choose.
