Joe Sent Me — Restaurant in Cambridge

Went on a Friday evening around 6. Plenty of tables available- both inside and outside. We sat outside. Waitress came out promptly. Ordered an alcoholic strawberry lemonade and a beer. Nice beer and drink list. Had fried pickles and poutine as appetizer. Poutine was very tasty. Fried pickles were perfectly fried. Ordered the Rocky Mountain Way burger with sweet potato fries and Castaway burger with tater tots. Both were a bit over the medium that we ordered but were very tasty and "all over your chin" juicy. Finished every last bit. The sweet potato fries were a tad undercooked but still good. They offer Cajun fries as well for sides. We chose to mix it up a little bit and they were very accommodating- Cajun tater tots!!! OMG these were amazing. Perfectly cooked tater tots with just the right amount of cajun- not too little and not too much. Ask for these if you want something different and delicious.

Overall good service, good drinks, and good food. We'll definitely be back and recommend it to others.

The wife and I were looking for a local sports bar to watch Monday Night Football, where the Detroit Lions were facing the Baltimore Ravens, and we came across 'Joe Sent Me' on Google Maps. Parking in Cambridge is usually a pain, but we were lucky enough to find an open spot on the street behind the bar where there weren't any NO PARKING SIGNS.

We sat at the bar, ordered a specialty Gin drink and a Shipyard Pumpkin with the caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon rim. Had the Buffalo Chicken dip as an appetizer, and yes, you have to get it! For dinner, we had Crispy Chicken wrap which my wife said was really good and I got the Cast Away burger, recommended by the bartender, with a side of sweet potato fries.

We took our time with the meal becuase we wanted to watch the football game, they had several TVs around the restaurant and 3 of them behind the bar. It wasn't very crowded either for Monday night, and they had oldies music playing throughout. The next time we are in Arlington, I'm sure we will go back again for...

Man! I made the huge mistake of going to a different bar, and I'm on my way to the one and only Joe Sent Me of Cambridge.

This bar is like Cheers. Everyone knows your name! Not just the bartenders, but even the regulars.

I stumbled into this bar about 6 months ago and have been coming 2-3 times a week. I usually get their quesadilla, wings, or anything on the sat brunch (can't go wrong on that menu).

I left for about 2 months on vacation and when I returned the Owmer, Sandy shook my hand and asked where I had been! I felt very appreciated and welcomed. Jen & Steph are great bartenders and will remember your drink after two visits or less!

I don't leave bad reviews, but I will definitely not be going back to that other bar.

Oh, the fish and chips are great! Had it for the first time a couple days ago. It was so tasty I had to stop and take a picture!
