This was an awful experience. My girlfriend and I showed up with 20 minutes left before closing. The cashier was nice at first, then she gave an attitude. I thought the customer was suppose to come first? Not with this staff, because the food came out, and the cashier just looked at me like I was suppose to come up to the counter and grab the food? I thought I paid for the service for you to bring the food to the table? Then, this guy was sweeping and clunking the chairs right next to us as we were eating. The staff could have simply asked “hey would you mind taking the food to go”? I would have said “Sure no problem”. I called them before going there saying “is it still okay to come even with 20 minutes left before closing”? The little Luna staff said “Yeah as long as it’s not five minutes before closing”. Am I missing something here? If there is a manager here please educate your staff that the customer comes first. They keep YOUR business going. My girlfriend and I wasn’t rude to the staff. Read moreI had the black bean burrito with rosemary fries and the lavender specialty coffee. The black beans, avocado and pico de gallo were a perfect combination of flavours. The fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and that is how I like my fries. I never had lanvender scented coffee before and was surprised how well they went together. I also did not expect the food portions to be so huge as they are worth 2 full meals to me. The staff members are friendly and empathetic. They are also quick to spot subtle cues from customers when they require service. One of them helps to bring food directly to customers and she also efficiently clears the table once customers finished their food. For the atmosphere, I really liked the warm glow of the lights hanging from the ceiling that adds to the chill, relaxed mood of the cafe. Read moreI live in the neighborhood and have gotten food at Little Luna quite a few times. Usually it's decent but today I went in to get two coffees (a vanilla latte and lavender latte) and ordered two meals as well (med wrap and black bean burrito). We received two coffees, both vanilla, which the barista remade so I could have the lavender one. Then after getting home I see that I received some sort of burger style sandwich instead of the burrito. The cashier was clearly not paying attention and did not care to ring our order in general, and for the cost at least ring my order up correctly. The barista answered the phone and was very polite and contacted the manager for a full refund, previous visits and her customer service are the reason its 2 stars and not 1. We live very close and if this happens again I will go to one of the other many cafes...
