This is a decent ice cream shop that tries way too hard. The signature sundae menu probably originated with an investor asking ChatGPT for a menu that would maximize instagram views. I don’t need a big poop-emoji of frosting on top of my already-too-sweet ice cream. Not every sundae needs sprinkles or chocolate chips. The “cookie dough core” sounded good but was just underwhelming nubs of cookie dough at the bottom of the cup. My “mini” ice cream with two toppings was over $12 before tip. I’m perplexed at why every topping is a different price, and why whipped cream costs more than $2.
Odd location too. I understand that they are prioritizing delivery orders, but it’s weird seeing that many staff behind the window while ordering from a tablet. No interaction, no tasting flavors before ordering, no ice cream shop charm. Also interesting to name your shop after a delivery method. Do they know that you can order delivery from any ice cream shop these days?
Aside from the menu, price, and ambience, the product is fine. The ice cream and toppings were good but not...
Read moreThere is real potential here, but currently the desserts here are far from perfect. We tried two different kinds of items - a sundae and a cookie sandwich. In both the flavors of the components were good but the end product was very unbalanced. I expected the cookie sandwhich to be something you can grab with your hand and take a bite, both from experience and from the photo presented on the ordering screen. Instead we got a mountain of ice cream with two cookies, one on top and one lost somewere. I appreciate the generosity but this ruins the balance needed for a good ice cream sandwhich. Although not as bad, and debatable, in my opinion the sundae suffered from a similar problem. The ice cream to topping ratio could be more balanced and really highlight the unique toppings they offer. Finally I will note that the smallest size is so large that we were not able to finish it in one seating. To me this is a bit wasteful. Also, they had such an extensive menu, I wish it was the opposite because I would have loved to try out more than one...
Read moreWas excited to come here, but it’s vastly overhyped and the menu items are misleading. Images are of the advertised menu items and delivered product. Cookie sandwich is fake.
If for some reason you choose to go here, DO NOT order the cookie sandwich. It’s nothing like the images, and it’s a waste of 8.99+tax and tip. It’s a small cookie dunked in 2 large scoops of ice cream, very misleading to compared the menu image. There isn’t even a second small cookie in the cup, so it doesn’t qualify as a weirdly portioned sandwich either.
The ice cream itself actually wasn’t bad, nice vanilla bean flavor on it. But I can buy a quart of nice organic ice cream and a cheap cookie at the store for less than the cost of this item. Even at 6.99 for a “mini”, it’s a 3/5 star at best.
0/10, won’t return. Vastly overhyped, and if not intentionally misleading, grossly incompetent at creating marketing images of their items. Better places I can go out in the area and spend my...
