Heard of this by way of a recommendation from a bunch of people who had spent more time in the area. Super convenient and dependable coffee shop that is a small chain.
I really love their aesthetics. The white tiles and pastry display was a total win. It was incredibly chic and pleasing. The restaurant itself was pretty clean and there was seating indoors and outdoors.
The staff is kind but rush you as the shop is quite busy. Everyone is moving at a fast pace. I went twice and their service seemed very good but not focused on individual. One time the food and drink really quick for me, but slow for my friend (and I ordered second) and another time. It was slow for both of us but fast all around us.
The first time I got a salmon and egg sandwich and it was huge! A bit too much of the herb dressing, Their croissants/bread is the centerpiece for sure. A little bit hard for a croissant, but overall great flavor and texture.
The second time I got a pistachio croissant and it was not my favorite. Basically a croissant that was sliced open with some pistachio cream inside. I wish I had selected something else. While they are good quality, you can certainly tell that they are built for mass production.
Cappuccino was delightful and they offer a variety of options for milk. Didn’t totally love the iced coffee, but that’s OK. It still hit the spot. Nothing to write home about but a solid choice.
The outside area can become quite windy so be cautious. Also, the door is so hard to open that a few people almost tried to walk away and give up because they thought the...
Read moreThis spot needs to hire some new people. I ordered my breakfast to stay. Found a table, which was dirty from oil and crumbs from the previous customers. I went back to where 4 servers were just standing and chatting and asked if I can get wipes to clean the table. Instead of saying “oh no, let us help you clean”, one of them shrugged and said there are napkins (dry, mind you) by the door and I can use those to clean. Fine. Then one of the servers brought my omelette and side dishes in a to-go bag. I stared at him and said I ordered to stay. He said he knows but only his manager can plate the food and therefore I have to eat it from these plastic containers. I looked inside and my runny omelette was in a separate plastic container. The rest of the food was also in separate plastic containers; some of it very cold. I refuse to eat a hot runny omelette from a plastic container that’s leaching chemicals into the egg. So gross, so unappetizing. I ended up talking to a 3rd server and asked to return this mess and get my order on an actual plate. I also asked to not simply be given back this plastic leached omelette- and if I may get a freshly made omelette. She looked at me like I am an alien and was surprised that I didn’t want to eat that delicious sight. They did eventually give me a new (?) plate of food and apologized. Which was very nice. But how much spit was in my food?...
Read moreI was having a nice day, until I got into the restroom at Tatte and forgot my phone there, when I went out of the restroom, I hold the door for the employee that was getting in after me then I went to my car and realized I forgot my phone in the restroom. When I came back my phone was gone and I assumed someone found it and gave it to the manager or at the cashier for me to come back, but unfortunately everyone at the store told me that they haven’t seen my phone, even the manager said that she asked every employee and no one had seen it. I tried calling but it went right to the voice mail. I started to get worried, but I remembered the guy who went in the restroom after me so I asked the manager to talk to him. Ps: I never accused anyone for stealing my phone, but I knew that guy at least saw my phone there. So the manager called him and he took my phone out of his pocket, it was turned off and he said that his co worker found it. Ok, So why would my phone be turned off and inside his pocket? Clearly his intentions was stealing it. I was really upset with everything that happened and I hope the store would make better decisions in hiring their employees, if that guy tried to steal my phone I don’t doubt that he might steal other stuff at the store. What a shame!
I love this coffee shop and their lattes but I won’t be back at this...
