Blaney's Wing and Grill — Restaurant in Camden

I found this little gem in June, the last time I visited in the Camden South Carolina area. My 100 year-old mother was tired of the cafeteria food at the care facility she's in and ask for a "burger with everything". Blaney's was close to the facility she's in so I went and picked her up a burger. It was a big burger and looked and smelled so good that I went back that night and got one for my dinner. Add 100 she ate half of the burger the way it came, and then pulled the meat out of the other half and ate most of that. I was there two other times and Jun, I had the bone in wings once which were some of the best I've had (I recommend the naughty and nice sauce). The other time I had a salad, I think they call it at the sweet salad. They offer it plain, with chicken, or with shrimp. I had it with the shrimp and really enjoyed it. They give you a choice of dressings, but the sweet dressing is a Vidalia onion dressing that I love. I'm in town again for a week and I've already been there once for the black and blue burger. I had to ask special to get it cooked beyond medium, I guess in SC have to make sure you understand that that could have health repercussions. It came out medium rare, there was a ton of blue cheese on top (nicely melting) and the whole sandwich was terrific. Ordered online, had confirmation email. Family ordered the same time I did both had confirmation emails. Got to the restaurant family told them MY name gave us our food. Got home name on order was BRITTNEY. To our surprise it was not our order. We received Wings and RAW fries. Called regarding the error, a snarky teney bopper answered the phone. Told me our order wasn’t wrong the name is right. Tried to explain 3 times the issue was not with the name but the FOOD. Throws a rude manager on the phone who argued with me about what I ordered, when I ordered it and instisted I was wrong. When I told him I paid cash he ask me what is cash bring your debit card. Couldn’t even tell me the right order so I had to reorder my meal. When I arrived back to the restaurant to pick up my order he snatched the one out of my hand that was wrong and PUT IT BACK ON THE COUNTER, with the ticket on the bag. If you ordered from Blaneys on 05/25 and you had bone in hot wings and raw fries your ordered came to my house before it did yours. He then proceeded to try and charge me 5.10 more after my food was wrong and I had to make two trips up there. The lady behind the counter she looked fairly young or does makeup real well was laughing and whispering with another age questionable employee. The SERVICE SUCKS. The website sucks and the employees are rude. If your out of options to eat somewhere I can drop a million other places you should try...

I have eaten here with my family on a few occasions, so I can safely say I have a handle of the place. The first time I ate here was with a party of 3. Food came out slow, but I figured it would because they were busy.

The second time we ate here, we had a party of 8, and 2 of our members were 15 minutes late, but the food came out fast, and it tasted great.

This last time we ate here was the worst. They weren't busy. Only 4 tables in the place were taken, and I had a party of 5. We all placed our order and received our drinks. And we waited. Other families of 2, 4 ,and 5 came in after us. All started getting their food before us. The waitress didn't even come by until we flagged her down for refills. As she forgot my daughter's drink, we started to get frustrated a half hour after we placed our order with still no sight of our food. We asked the waitress how much longer, and she insisted it would be too much longer. 45 minutes still waiting, and another family of 5 gets their food. This was my final straw, and I asked to cancel our food, and I would only pay for the drinks. She insisted (with attitude) that they were busy, and that's what took our food so long. There was no way this was the case, as I pointed out to her. Needless to say I probably won't come back if they can't handle a slow night. How will they handle if it gets busy. Just not worth my...
