Short Review:
Lovely small family owned diner. Beautifully remodeled and decorated. They serve a large variety of American classics like eggs Benedict, omelettes, steak, and burgers. They have a good selection of soft drinks, fruit juices, wine, margaritas, as well as domestic and imported beers. Lovely place with fair pricing is what you’ll get when you come here. They accept card and cash for anybody who may be curious.
Long review:
Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by the waitress. Very lovely staff I was seated immediately and given the menu. The order for my drink was taken, and I was given a few minutes to look at the menu to see what I would like. They had a huge selection of different types of food, mostly American dishes. They also offered a small selection of classic Vietnamese soup dishes. They also have a small dessert menu, which include items like pie cake, and ice cream.
The restaurant was very clean and well organized. The area was spacious and not cluttered. Within 10 to 15 minutes of ordering my food was ready, piping hot, and fresh. The portion sizes are huge, so the price point is very fair. They are not overpriced, which is great because a lot of places are over pricing these days.
Highly recommend 10 / 10.
Constructive Suggestion:
The omelette was absolutely delicious. My only suggestion would be to lighten up on the salt, just a little. Other than that everything was...
Read moreWalked in 6/8/25 approximately 11:35 AM, was greeted at the front door by a guy with tattoos on his arms and was told to take a seat anywhere and someone will be with us shortly. Sat down and waited about 5 mins and no one is noticing we’ve taken a seat. My partner goes to grab a menu after waiting a few mins and a group of white people came a few mins after we arrived. A medium length blond haired server sat them immediately when they walked in and takes their drink orders. At this point, we still haven’t been acknowledged. Same server comes back to their table and serves their drinks. After the drinks were served to them, we up and left because clearly no one is assisting us. Thats disrespectful af. Why were we told to take a seat anywhere and a group who comes in a few mins after gets served immediately? Was it because the group was white? Are the servers selectively choosing who they want to serve based off of color? That’s crazy. You can’t even say that they’re short staffed if the server sat a group that came a few mins after us and immediately serves them.
Do what you must with this information as you already have the date and time stamp of when we walked in. So go ahead and check the cameras. We kept looking around to see if anyone was going to assist us.
We came here since it’s been years since my partner has come here and it was cool to know that they reopened. So much for the experience...
Read moreThis review should be zero stars. Where do I start. Had to drop mom off for eye surgery at valley hospital this morning at 6:30 so decided to give Mimi Gourmet a try, what a wrong decision that was on my part. Walked in and waited at front over 5 minutes before the server came out from back and told me to pick any table, ok no good morning, welcome, zip. Didn’t even get his name. Ok on to the food, I ordered the three meat skillet with potatoes and asked for a side of country gravy, food was ok but bland and didn’t look like a skillet breakfast, gravy was bland but ok. Again waiter never identified himself and never checked back with me to see if breakfast was ok. Now time to pay waited at register when waiter walked up and showed me the bill, $3.50 for a side of Country Gravy are you kidding me, I know I ordered it but should have been told about additional cost, just a principal point. Also want to mention that while I was standing at entrance when I first arrived, I guess a dishwasher ok cook came out from kitchen looked at me and grabbed a broom and ignored me when he could have helped the server by sitting me at a table and informing the server in back he had a new customer. How is this place still in business is beyond me with staff like this. My advice for a great breakfast where they don’t nickel and dime you to death is The Cup & Saucer on Blossom Hill & Meridian at...
