Garcia's Restaurant — Restaurant in Campbellsville

Awful experience. My wife and 4 kids stopped in for a meal. We live about 30 minutes away and were very hungry. We're greeted with a sign on the door that says parties of 5 or more not permitted. What a nice way to be greeted.

We were starving so we went on in. It's the first restaurant I've been in in months where everyone is still wearing masks. Get over it already.

Then they bring the chips and salsa out. Some of the worst I've had in a long time.

The part that really made me decide to leave was the tiny menu. They had no kids menu and the options were very limited for my wife and I.

To make matters worse they use paper straws which are very bothersome to use. They feel weird on the lips. Who wants a dry paper feeling sticking to their lips while they're drinking? So stupid.

I told the waitress that we wanted to pay for drinks and leave. It was $15.95 for 5 drinks (my youngest had her own drink)

My wife and I ate here about 10 years ago and it was great. Sad to see what it is now.

I do not recommend. Avoid it.

We always loved the food and service here we hadn't been in a while and I don't know if it has changed ownership but I do know that everything else has changed and NOT for the better!!!! You now have to place your order as you come in you fix your own drinks someone did bring the food out that was the extent of "customer service". No one ever came and asked us how our food was or offer to get us anything. The food used to be some of the best, not this time!! Very bland even the cheese sauce and salsa!! Also ordered a cheese sauce to go for someone else and they charged 75 cents for the tiny cup they put it in so over $5.00 for a small cheese dip!!! 26 July 2023. It's been 2 years ago since our family ate at here last. It looks to be under new management. We walked in, ordered and payed at checkout counter first then they send you to find your own seats and get your own drinks before you seat yourself meaning we could be waiting at the door behind people ahead of us who's reading the menu. Then we have to search for a empty space that provides enough room for all of our family meaning If there isn't a table large enough for all our family we'd all have walk back to the front counter. Lucky us today we found a table. I had a chicken quesadilla. The filling consist of a small scoop of tiny chunks of chicken, onions and cheese. It had no flavor not even salt.
