The food was good. The order was correct. However, the person behind the cash register gave my food to the person who ordered their meal after me. There is an order number on the receipt for a reason. Mistakes like that do not have to be made all they have to do is check the number on the receipt. I understand mistakes but I don't understand why it took 30 minutes to admit you made a mistake and reorder the food while I'm sitting there waiting watching several other people after me receive their food. I had to ask twice before my food was reordered. And the man who accidentally got my food came back and tried to tell them and the person at the cash register still didn't reorder my meals. A person at the cash register clearly needs to be retrained or given a different job other than running the cash register. I saw at least four other employees but no one seemed to be f i l l i n g the orders but that 1 o n e employee. So that person either needs another person working with the individual training them or they need to put that person in another position in the building doing something else. You should not have to watch five other customers walk by you with their food and you should not have to ask repeatedly to please check...
Read moreI lived most of my life not knowing that Lee's famous chicken existed until I was forced into an assignment in KY this past year. My first visit, I must admit I felt a bit manipulated and lied to for most of my life. All I have ever known was that the Colonel was the "original", one and ONLY, main chicken man. Walking in through the doors that first glorious visit the truth was quickly revealed. Hanging right there on the wall of the entry way I was about to learn that the Colonel, like so many before and after him, jacked ole' Lee back in the day and claimed the "secret recipe" that brought him all of his fame and fortune. Obviously, Lee carried on making great chicken after getting screwed by his old pal, but he never really hit it big. All the while the Colornel claimed the stake on "Kentucky Fried Chicken" and about ruined fast food chicken for the rest of America. Unbeknownst to too many, the real secret recipe is held at Lee's. I now realize that you cant say you know "Kentucky Fried Chicken" until you have eaten at Lee's. Hands down the VERY best fast food lunch buffet and fried chicken ANYWHERE. Thanks Lee's for proving good fast food still exist. I can't wait...
Read morethis was our first time coming to this restaurant.only knew about it because we were driving to Fort Knox Kentucky. I ordered liver and gizzards only got liver (which) I had to wait additional 10 because they didn’t have enough. Which was good (fresh) unfortunately they forgot my gizzards and I wasn’t going to wait an additional 10min. as I stated we were just driving back to TN. everything else (we tried sampling) all the sides and pretty much was mediocre. One piece of our 3 piece kitchen was (hard) as if it had stayed under the warming light too long. The other 2 pieces was fresh. Overall all it was an ok. stop. Also, it was not a friendly atmosphere. We mentioned it was our first visit and that we were passing through. I recommend the bake beans even if half of the baked beans was purchased, can and the other half mixed with something that they cooked in the restaurant information I found out from...
