McDonald's — Restaurant in Campbellsville

Very unhappy with the repeated issues of both items being left out (yet still charging me for it) and/or being made incorrectly if any special instructions were provided. I try to be a pretty reasonable person and I understand mistakes happen, but this is just beyond absurd. The last time I ate there, I got home to discover they had left a McDouble off my order and had fully dressed both of my kids cheeseburgers, despite the receipt reflecting plain. When I called I did not complain about the cheeseburgers, but did ask for the McDouble. I was told I could pick it up the next time I stop by since I live 10 minutes away and did not want to drive back for a McDouble.... However tonight I was given great difficulty in obtaining the McDouble. I understand people may try to take advantage of the system, but I would think the likelihood of a McDouble being the chosen item to steal to be very low....So, after paying for my $22 order tonight and remembering the McDouble, the manager seems to be under the impression I decided I wanted to steal a $1.39 cheeseburger essentially. I just think it's a little over-the-top, and it should not have been such turmoil. If the idea is to charge the consumer for the product and not deliver, and then shame them into not asking for it, this McDonald's is doing a...

If I could give this McDonald’s a negative 5 stars I would. I have been to this store on 2 separate occasions. 1st I waited in the drive thru for about 25 minutes for a quarter pounder with cheese minus onions, an order of fries and a half cut ice tea. I finally waited long enough that I went inside to get my order and was told that they made a mistake and were remaking my order fresh. Ok, no problem so I continue to wait. I was handed a bag and two free meal coupons for my trouble. Ok. Great! I open my bag and have a quarter pounder smothered in onions and it was cold. I couldn’t even eat it.

A couple of weeks later , I give them a second chance and use my free breakfast coupons. I order a bacon egg and cheese bagel minus breakfast sauce, hash brown and orange juice. After another 25 minute wait in the drive thru I decide to call this time to ask what the hold up was. I was politely told that they were waiting on a “fresh bagel”. Ok, great! I get my order and the bagel was so smothered in breakfast sauce I couldn’t even eat it. I’m sure glad I didn’t pay for that.

I gave them 2 chances. Unfortunately, this McDonald’s has lost my business. I hope this review is seen by many and they make a different choice in the fast food options in...

The McDonald's in Campbellsville is a mixed bag of experiences for me, and for most people I know.

The advertised time for the lobby being open, 2AM, is only adhered to at random and it's normal to show up and find the lobby closed any time after midnight. The lobby being closed means that the drive-thru stays backed up, and their revolutionary double drive thru system really, really doesn't work well, or even at all.

From my experience you're better off using the first drive-thru lane.

Anyway, the food and the accuracy of the order are usually consistently good. The worst and pretty much only issue I run into is when the Chicken McNuggets are sometimes cooked stuck together, leaving a soft, doughy spot in between the two. Not terrible, but annoying.

Overall it's an ok place to stop, but if you're looking for a late night bite it's arguably faster depending on your luck to go to Huddle House on the other side of town, and they're a...
