Rally's — Restaurant in Campbellsville

(To start off, let me make a note of the fact that this restaurant has closed down several times over its lifespan, going from a Rally's to a Krystal to a Rally's which shutdown and then reopened as a Rally's once more, under new management with an interior design overhaul.)

This is more a summation of my total experiences dining at the restaurant thus far, rather than just an analysis of one visit.

They have the best tasting fast food burgers and fries in town.

They occasionally mess up orders, and sometimes they have an several minute wait on certain less popular fried foods (the chicken wings are the biggest culprit for this), but overall the service is fast enough. The speed at which food's sent out definitely decreases during a rush, but generally it's negligible.

Some of the food is cheap, some of it is not, and it's important to understand that when you look over the menu. The Big Buford (their signature burger) is over $5 outside of a combo (though they occasionally offer specials where you can buy two Big Buford burgers for $5). While it looks like a deluxe double cheese burger it's actually made with larger meat patties and a special bun, while a Double Rally Burger is still a deluxe double cheeseburger, but with normal sized patties and a regular sesame seed bun.

The ice cream offerings aren't Baskin Robbins level (they're right across the street!) in terms of variety, but the soft serve cake cones are just a $1 before tax, so that's not too bad. Other items like the Hole-Lotta's (they're sort of a mix between a Dairy Queen Blizzard and a Wendy's Frosty but with a filling in the middle) are more expensive but in terms of taste are nothing to shake a stick at.

All in all it's the best fast food restaurant on that side of Campbellsville so long as you can look past the speed of service...

I usually stop here to get my kids the nugget and fry box on my way through. Maybe 3-4 times a year since 2017. The thing about reviews people only take the time to leave one if the food/service is extraordinary or terrible. Well it’s been okay, until now. Just stopped to get my 4 children the nugget box. I’m not sure what they served us. The nuggets taste like they’ve been sitting for a long time and and dropped in grease to be hot again. Som bites were so bad my kids called them rocks and threw them out the window. Fries a little better- but same. Not only does the food taste horrible this time, but one kid received a normal amount of bites and fries, but the other 3 received 4 -5 chicken bites and less than adequate amount of fries. Not that we eat enough to make a financial difference for the company, but we will find a new spot to stop from here on out. Food...

I go there a lot. Never had an issue until tonight. I ordered 2 big bufords. I don't live close to the place. Got home and found I had 2 double cheesburgers with nothing at all on them. I called the store. Spoke to the manager on duty. She asked if I wanted to come get them tonight. I replied "I'm not conveniently close to drive out tonight". She said "You don't need to be rude" and hung up. I called back. I asked for her name. She wouldn't give it. I asked for her supervisors name. She hung up again. Tried to call again and nobody answered. I just got off the phone after filing a complaint with corporate. Case#5698647. I'm 62 years old. Have eaten at many fast food places over the years. In all those years I have never had such rude and disrespectful service (not to mention not getting what I paid for) that I felt I needed to contact...
