Seen many positive reviews of the place so wanted a chance to come and experience it for ourselves. We had company come over at a nearby hotel, so we jumped at the chance to take them here. The place is unpretentious in food and ambiance, but the staff makes up for it in spades! Everyone was super nice and accommodating. There was even a small problem with one of our orders which was not the fault of the restaurant, but the staff immediately stood behind things and re-made the dish. There is clearly a lot of love and effort that goes into this place.

It is a cash only place. They do have an ATM in case you did not bring enough with you. There are two entrances. If you can do the stairs, then the front entrance is for you, but there is a back entrance as well which has no stairs.

We got a sampling of different offerings for breakfast (they are open for breakfast and lunch only) and got some decent fare. Nothing was spectacular, but all was good and tasty. Quantities were plentiful so we were not going hungry.

The staff was very attentive and I believe almost all of them were from the same family. They clearly cared about the place and what they were doing which is a...

CASH ONLY FYI!

We were out for a drive in the area and decided to give this place a try. We walked in around 10:10 AM on a Sunday morning. We seated ourselves right away and there were a couple of other open tables. So it wasn’t really busy. This place is cash only and there’s no air conditioning. It was pretty sweltering inside and the ceiling fans weren’t cutting it. My wife got cheesy scrambled eggs with bacon and toast, my stepdaughter got a breakfast sandwich and I got one biscuit with sausage gravy and a small side of grits. The total bill was $31. My wife’s scrambled eggs looked decent but she said they were kind of slimy and gross because of the Kraft single melted into it. My biscuit and gravy was good but $7 was a little steep for a tiny biscuit and some gravy. My stepdaughter said her breakfast sandwich was just ok. We waited about 20 minutes for our food from the time we ordered...

I love a good small-town diner, and this place did not disappoint.

From the moment we walked in, I had a good feeling—and it delivered.

A few things to note: it’s cash only, extremely family-friendly (they even brought our kids goodie bags!), and they’ve got a great high chair. However, there isn’t a changing table, so keep that in mind.

The service was just as great as the food—friendly, welcoming, and super attentive without being overbearing. They really make you feel at home.

Everyone at our table left happy—no complaints at all. My omelet was awesome, and they definitely didn’t skimp on the ingredients.

I know pancakes are basic, but these were delicious and generous. Breakfast is served all day, and they’ve got great options if you want a full spread of eggs, meat, pancakes, and more in one order.

If you’re in the area and need breakfast, lunch, or brunch, this spot is definitely...
