Foods pretty decent for 1 buffet meal being 11$. The wonton soup, general sous chicken, sugary bun things, and the strawberry cake squares all stood out as pretty good. They even have sushi rolls that are tasty. If you are in need of a lunch and want to treat yourself on a budget, this is definitely a good option. I’d definitely go again in the future. The employees are chill as well. Definitely recommend

This was a nice value for a Chinese buffet. The establishment seemed clean but was rather dark inside. The food is good and there is a wide variety of items, from chicken to seafood, soup, rice, noodles, appetizers, salad, and desserts. The food was good but suffers from the same fate as most buffet food, where it's hard to keep it at a hot temperature for long.

Was hesitant to try after reading some of these reviews but drove by to see how busy they were at 6pm; busy so I stopped. Their buffet was hot and tasty with a good selection, almost like my favorite buffet back home. Photo of a portion of the actual buffet during my visit. Excellent for $9.75 for dinner and 6.95 for lunch.

They say mistakes are made everyday. Today's mistake was choosing the Wai Wai for lunch. I was initially excited to see a plethora of options awaiting me at the buffet, although unfortunately none of these options was even remotely edible. The general tso's chicken? Cold. The honey chicken? Cold. The white rice? Cold. The lo mein? Cold and strangely chewy. I'm not sure how I could have walked in just 10 minutes after they opened to find an entire buffet full of cold, hard, dehydrated food. My best guess is they made all of this so-called food yesterday and the 2-watt heat lamps hadn't had time to warm up the leftovers yet. Although it probably wasn't very good when it was fresh either - and I wouldn't be surprised if some of the chicken was discarded chicken nuggets dug out from the McDonalds dumpster next door and slathered with some sort of coagulated sauce scraped out from the bottom of a barrel full of radioactive waste. And don't get me started on the desserts. If you like corrugated cardboard covered in what appears to be (and probably tastes like) bull reproductive juice, then you'll love their pastry selection! The only decent thing I could manage to put in my mouth without gagging was the fortune cookie, and that's probably because it was made and packaged off-site. Although, even my fortune had a typo in it, which means even the fortune cookies were probably from a discarded box of rejects. I write this review three hours after eating there, and I'm starting to feel quite sick and asking myself "why?! why?!" did I eat at the Wai Wai. Avoid this place like you'd avoid jabbing yourself with a...

Listen to me! I have been going to this restaurant since 2005! They opened in like 2002 and have stayed open since. I don't know why some people believe they are Gordon Ramsay, when they are flat out wrong!!!! Wai Wai has good quality food for such a low price! That is why their restaurant has been open for approximately 14 years. I always get their lo mein noodles, fried and white rice, salad, WON TON SOUP, chicken and beef & grilled vegetables. They also have interesting deserts! Their buffet is truly amazing and their food is always hot and quality made! I have just been telling everybody who isn't familiar with it, because Wai Wai is such an amazing restaurant. Any time I am in the mood for Chinese I go there, just like I have been for 10 years! Do not ever listen to the bad reviews because they are flat out wrong. Wai Wai is the best Chinese restaurant ever! The interior design is very nice and almost fancy. I have been on many dates there. I love it so much. I talk to the manager all the time and she is a very nice lady. Please do not be fooled by these false reviews. The restaurant is fantastic, the interior design is extremely nice, the place almost looks a bit formal, the food tastes amazing, I hope their business thrives! If you want amazing Chinese food, in a really really REALLY nice setting for such a low cost, Wai Wai is the...

EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! This was quite possibly the WORST dining experience ever! If I could give negative stars, I would. Visited approx. 6:15 in the evening. Food looked kind of old, but the real problem was that is was cold! Everything that we put on our plates!. When we spoke to the waitress about this and our concerns about food safety in general, we were told that they were making fresh food. Well, they remade a few of the dishes on the already small buffet, but then proceed to mix the new food with the old, thus cross contaminating any unsafe food. Needless to say, we did not eat, however, upon checking out, we were told we were getting a $2.00 discount. So all in all, it cost us $20.00 to not eat at this place. Shameful, to charge for food that was not even eaten. This used to be a really great place to eat, but quality has gone way down hill.

UPDATE to original review. I reported this incident to the Dept of Agriculture, who followed up with me. They sent an inspector to the restaurant and found the food to be below temp. They reviewed proper procedure with mgmt. and said they will revisit the restaurant at another time to ensure they are in compliance. I still won't go back after my experience, but at least maybe the situation...
