Best known for their premium chocolates and candies, this place offers so much more than just sweet treats, it’s an experience. The store is beautifully designed with a nostalgic charm, and during the holidays, it transforms into a magical wonderland with themed decorations and festive candy displays that delight guests of all ages.

Their old-fashioned ice cream counter is a standout favorite. The ice cream is rich, creamy, and served in very generous portions. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait, it’s so popular that long lines are common, especially during peak hours. But trust me, it’s worth every second. This place is a must-visit for anyone who finds themselves in the Pittsburgh PA area. It is tucked in the far corner of America's quintessential small town and offers the BEST milk chocolate and confections that you'll find anywhere. Shopping in person there is an experience that will tickle people of any age - giant stuffed animals, a castle made of chocolate, and a full old-fashioned ice cream shop will keep you browsing, eating and taking pictures for a good hour. Parking is plentiful, close and safe. During most hours there is a uniformed security guy to help you cross the street from parking. Given that this is on a side street in a pretty much residential section of a small town, the security guy is a step above and beyond, but he always has a smile and on the off-chance there is a car on the road he's got you covered. There are big round outside tables and a couple of tables in the ice cream shop. Don't forget to pick up a box of the chocolate covered pretzels while you're there, no one makes them like Sarris! One more thing - the Sarris family, Canonsburg natives for at least as long as I've been alive, are the sweetest, most humble, generous, community minded people you'll ever meet.
