Fresh Start Cafe — Restaurant in Canonsburg

The Johnny Waffles are surprisingly SO GOOD! I stopped in for the first time this morning with the intention of getting an iced latte and a muffin but left with more Johnny Waffles and a great start to my morning. I was greeted and served by Sonja (sorry if that’s misspelled), the manager, and she is so welcoming, sweet, and open to conversation. She gave me some background on the business, herself, and the Johnny Waffle origin story which was cool. The coffee is excellent and this cafe is a great addition to Canonsburg. Nice place. This is a non-profit place. The owner ties it back into the community. Thank you, Lord, for this opportunity of a humble man who helps others. While sitting there, sipping your coffee and eating a snack. Just listen to the people around you. Talking about life in general. Listen! I and a friend stopped in yesterday morning for the first time. I had a hot dark roast coffee, a maple bacon nut roll slice, and a Johnny Waffle. The coffee and pastries were delicious. The service was excellent and the cafe was clean, inviting, and comfortable. One of the staff members even gave us much appreciated information about festivals in Cannonsburg.
