Canonsburg Cake Company — Restaurant in Canonsburg

My wife and I stopped in to pick up desert on the way to a friends house for dinner. We are from out of town so this was just a shot in the dark. This place and the owners turned out to be the light that destroyed the dark :)

The store is beautiful and inviting. The owners greeted us immediately with smiles and joyful voices. The display of cupcakes was a marvel to the behold. The bright colors and consistency from one cupcake to the next amazed.

We bought a variety of 6 (Orange Dreamsicle, Death by Chocolate, Buckeye, Midnight Raspberry Temptation, Mint Chocolate Chip and Classic Chocolate) and after some small banter and laughs we headed on our way. Once the cupcakes came out after dinner, the exclamations on how beautiful they looked started the experience. The taste of these cupcakes was amazing. They were moist and so full of flavor. We cannot recommend this artisan enough and look forward to visiting again our next trip...

What can I say about this place. Yes the customer service is very good. But the cupcakes were excellent at least the ones that I had. They were reasonably priced. I love the fact that it had tons of flavor and it was not overpowered with sugar. You can actually taste what the label says. For the record this place might not be in the budget for everybody. But it is definitely in my budget. So if you want to try a place with good cupcakes, you're going to have to try. It is well worth it.

By the way I'm from Cincinnati and I would go back up there just to get me some cupcakes and explore the city a little. So if I'm willing to drive for hours while then it should be easy for someone to drive there in less time to try these delicious marvelous...

Had not been at the Canonsburg Cake Company prior. Anxious to try new bakeries. Stopped by yesterday and was waited on by a super polite and welcoming gentleman and lady. The cupcakes are individually stored in classy glass covers. I chose the Death by Chocolate and the Midnight Raspberry Temptation. Then while there, was generously offered to try one of their peanut butter cookies. OMG- stunningly delicious. Their products are truly artistic design and flavor. Purely tasted the natural peanut butter and treasured the soft, warm cookie right out of the oven. Excellent baked goods and friendly staff, I assume owners. Plan to encourage people and myself to...
