I been coming here for a long time, but my last 3 experience was terrible. So today I spoke with the manager and i let her know. The food is good and me and my family come here a lot, but the last three times the food was cold, had hair in it or wasn't properly cooked. The manager told me dont expect for my food to always be good especially when they are busy. She said the cooks get so many tickects at one time they are just trying to rush and get the food out. I explained to her the first time my cornbeef sandwich was burn badly and bread to hard to even chew. They redid it and this time instead of a hot cornbeef sandwich i got a cold cut. My meat was ice cold. She told me i should of sent it back a third time. I was so mad i have never seen a manager react in such a way. Instead of apologizing and saying how can I fix this. She repeatedly told me not to always expect good food because her cooks have to rush, and when they are busy my food may not be as good as it was last time when the was slower. I ask her so its ok for your customers to pay for the food that they come here hoping to get good food and service, but u dont expect for your cooks to always cook properly? She said the taste and quality of food can change do to the rush .The cooks is only focus on getting food out quick. ( You only focus on making and taking our money as customers). Me and my family will not be coming back here .My money is good enough for you to take but you dont care what and how your customers receive there food. Terrible!!!! Im tired of restaurants taking our money and serving us anything.we treat our animals better than they treat us. I wish i could of gave bo stars. What a nasty attitude and mind set to have...
Read moreI only wish they were open later than 3:00 PM. One of my favorite dishes at Coney Island-type restaurants is a steak sandwich. They've become hard to find, let alone a good one. I saw it on the menu and saw it was on their Lunch Special menu. Came with a very generous side of fries. But the sandwich...Oh my. It came served with lettuce, tomato, and mayo on your average sized hamburger bun. Exactly what I like, though I would add onion and pickles. I didn't ask, so they might have done it. But the steak? THE perfect steak for this dish. Ordered it mid-rare, and it was cooked perfectly. And the size of it hung over each of the 360 degrees of the bun by an inch but mostly more. Oh yeah. I was there with 2 other people. My wife ordered the BLT lunch special with a cup of their chicken noodle soup. The soup was pretty good. About what you'd expect from a restaurant that serves the volume that they do. The BLT was a misnomer. It should be listed as a BBBLT. The amount of bacon would make PETA mad. She finished her sandwich, after taking half home for later, and still had what I would call a decent sized serving of bacon left in the styrofoam. My MIL, who we had just picked up from Metro, ordered a crispy chicken salad. A small. It would dwarf most large salads from most other places. The protein was abundant. There were quartered tomatoes that should probably be cut smaller, but that is a minor gripe.
I/we will absolutely frequent them again. 3 lunches plus soft drinks was around $37. The service was great. We never sat there with empty drinks. Our server, I forget her name unfortunately, saw that we needed boxes and brought them promptly.
I couldn't recommend them...

I've had their farmers omelet and a steak omelet with green 🌶, 🌰 onions and 🥔 hashbrowns inside, both filled me up/ fed me twice.
Not inexpensive, 😔 🤷🏻♂️ but you get what you pay for. $22 roughly before tip for omelet, French toast and iced 🧊 🍵
One meal that can basically sustain me all day, eat most of it at breakfast time, by the time I'm getting off work in the evening, I'll devour the rest and be full again. 😁😁😁😋😋😋
Waitress told me that if I wanted to eat my food there they could do that but call and let them know I'm coming and they could have it ready for me but to go orders are to go, so she literally basically told me it wasn't okay to eat my takeout food in the restaurant and that really made me feel some type of way, like I've been here three times and I've spent over $100 in the 3 times I've been here, granted she told me that the second time I was there but it's like sheesh, she told me that as I think I was gonna eat my food or had already started too and I'm like oh okay and left, I ate in my car cause she made me...
