I have never had a bad experience eating at Bojangles in Canton however, today was more than just unpleasant. Upon reaching the drive thru window a women was screaming at an employee. (I later realized it was the manager) She accused him of eating on the job in a "very" hostile way and screamed at him to never do it again on the clock. I also heard some questionable language as well. I honestly felt bad not just for him but the other employees to. Managers should hold themselves to a higher standard especially when customers are within listening distance. The girl who was at the drive thru window seemed very much on edge. I could tell how uneasy all of the employees were. You could cut the tension with a knife. I know I was very uncomfortable. After I drove away I took out my chicken sandwich and even though I had ordered it plain it had pickles and sauce on it and the fries were undercooked and very greesy. I decided to go back and see if they could make me another meal. I felt terrible though. The girl at the drive though window did not open the window all the way. I told her about my meal and she said if I would pull up they would make me a new one. She then quickly closed the window because the manager was still acting out. The shame that was on her face, she knew I was hearing it. I looked inside and there were customers inside waiting in line. They were hearing all of this to. I have never gotten a bad meal at bojangles but due to the toxic management and the fact that the employees were severely mistreated its no wonder that the food was not what it should have been. I went to popeyes prior to choosing bojangles but they had a sign on the drive thru speaker that said they were closed because there wasn't enough staff to open today. That being said I believe any job should be lucky to have employee's who come to work to help them keep their business open and alive. Why would anyone treat their employees so poorly? The upper management should really have a look into what's going on with this manager at the Bojangles in Canton. Someone needs to help these people before something happens that could have been...
Read moreDear Bojangles Customer Care,
I am writing to share my disappointment with the service and food quality I recently experienced at two of your North Carolina locations while visiting from Florida.
On 8/21, my boyfriend and I visited the Bojangles located at 1507 Smokey Park Hwy, Candler, NC 28715. We both ordered the three-piece meal (one leg and two thighs). The cashier informed us they only had six pieces of chicken available, all legs. We agreed to wait the 15 minutes it would take to cook fresh chicken and told them we would return after visiting the Shell station next door. When we returned 15–20 minutes later, we were told the chicken still had not been cooked — despite several cars being served in the drive-through during that time. Frustrated, we asked for a refund and left.
Since we do not have Bojangles in Florida, we decided to try another location in Canton, NC. Again, we ordered the three-piece meals, and again we were told they did not have all the chicken needed. We patiently agreed to wait. However, after watching three other customers receive their food, we waited over one hour before our order was finally served. Unfortunately, when we returned home, the food was cold and the mashed potatoes and gravy were poorly prepared (they appeared not stirred and had flakes in them).
I later called the Candler location and spoke to Angel, the manager, who was polite and refunded my purchase. She also provided me with a gift card for the inconvenience. However, when I checked the balance on the gift card, it showed zero funds.
I find it extremely disappointing that a restaurant known for chicken was unable to provide basic chicken meals at two separate locations, coupled with poor service and unsatisfactory food quality. This experience has left me discouraged from visiting Bojangles again and I would not recommend it to others.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously to ensure other customers do not experience similar treatment. I would appreciate a response from your team regarding how this will...
Read moreThis was my first time trying Bojangles and I was excited to try them. At first you order through a robotic voice which wasn't an issue because they actually got my order right but it was a new experience. However when I got to the window is where it all started to fall apart. I waited about 7 minutes before they gave me my food however they gave me a breakfast sandwich when I had ordered a two-piece with mac and cheese and French fries and two blueberry biscuits. When I pointed out to him but this was not my order I was told that somebody must have driven off and then I waited another 5 minutes for my food to come out. I got everything I ordered except for my two blueberry biscuits and apparently got someone's cajun chicken sandwich and fries as well. I had to pull up and wait additional 6 minutes for my two biscuits and when I finally got a chance to eat my Mac and Cheese was barely warm and the chicken had very little flavor. Needless to say I don't see me going back...
