It's hard to explain why I feel like I didn't get what I was expecting. I ordered via the Domino's website, as 'carryout' was the only option. I had hoped for delivery, but I guess they're not doing that right now. I chose 2 medium, 2 topping pizzas for $5.99 each. It was neat to see the progress of my order via messages. When we drove to the pickup window, we ended up just sitting there in the pouring rain. I watched the same male employee walk back and forth, adjusting boxes or just passing by - and he never once looked at us. I assume there's a buzzer or something that goes off when a car is at the pickup window. ?? So I called the location and was hurriedly asked to please hold. So I sat there at the window, on hold with the location, for what seemed like a long time. The guy walked by again! I thought about honking but thought that would be rude. A lady finally came to the window, and I told her I was on hold. She said 'we're really busy right now' (which I understand) but wouldn't you want to pass pizzas out the window to get on to the next order? (I would think so) Plus, if they aren't delivering...how are they not stationing someone at the pickup window? I just don't get it. I probably wouldn't have bothered leaving this review if our pizzas were good, but they weren't. One was ordered with green peppers and extra cheese, which was made correctly. It simply had NO flavor. Nothing at all. It was like chewing dry bread that was somehow powdery. There was barely any sauce. The other pizza was ordered with extra cheese and pepperoni. It didn't even have what I'd consider a 'normal' amount of cheese. It seemed curled up and dry, as though we were given someone else's pizza that had been made some time ago. We have so many choices of where to get pizza from, so the end result is that we just won't e ordering from Domino's again, unless someone can convince me...
Read moreI wouldn't have given one star but can't pick 0. I will never order food from Domino's Pizza. I called in to order pizza maybe a little after 11pm on 8-23-19 at the store at 34th and Cleveland Ave NW in Canton Ohio. I ordered a large pizza and a order of stuffed cheesy bread. My total came to 26 something. I asked if they could break a $50. Was told they only carry $20 worth of change. (driver had a stack of money on him). So I ordered another stuffed cheesy bread. Total was now 32 something. The guy on the phone said he'd have to check with his msnmana if that was ok. My change was less then $20. During this conversation I was asked repeatedly if I was giving the driver a tip and how much. I feel it's very rude to ask that. I understand if paying with card to ask. Only one time. I called the store this morning to talk with a manager. After explaining what happened I was told there was nothing he could do. He said he'd give me his district managers number. He started rambling it off. I asked if he could wait till I had something to write with. While finding a pen. He decided to hang up on me. Domino's Pizza has the worst customer service I've ever seen. Order food there if you want to be...
Read moreBased on the commercial, which is why I took the chance to order, I was under the impression that the people who would be preparing my pizza and the person who would be handing my pizza to me would be wearing at least a face mask and I was hoping for gloves also, especially for those prepping the food. There was none of that. The one person who was at the front of the store at the cash register had on a face mask but no one else did. Not the people in the kitchen handling the food and not the person who walked the pizza out to my vehicle. I feel mislead. Had I known that's the way it was going to be, I would have never ordered from here. The most recent policy update I can see from the CEO of Domino's says that they've "mandated the use of masks and strongly encouraged the use of gloves". Clearly, no one cares to enforce this policy. There were 4+ people in this small store front, no social distancing and no masks or concern for the safety of their employees or customers. Domino's has lost me as a customer for life. This is what you get when you trust a corporation to do the right thing. I should have made my own pizza and...
