As someone who has been a patron of this particular Dunkies for almost 30 years, I can assure you that it has gone tragically downhill as of late. The lines outside and inside in the mornings are absolutely ridiculous, and for the number of staff they have on, it shouldn’t be that way. By the time I actually got my food today (order ahead), it was already cold.
This should be a flagship store, considering it’s so close to Global Corporate HQ, but if you watch them behind the counter, they’re like the keystone cops back there. No one seems to be in charge and it’s an utter free for all.
The staff consistently put drive-through order-ahead meals in the walk-in pick up section and vice versa, so when you show up to get your food, they have to run around and find it.
Some staff members don’t seem to be able to comprehend which coffee goes with which order, even with other staff members standing there trying to explain it to them. It took me almost three whole minutes today to get the guy at the drive through window to actually hand me my drink — which he was holding the ENTIRE time — because somehow he couldn’t figure out if THAT was the drink that went with my order … even that I affirmed that it was and a second staff member was RIGHT THERE repeatedly telling him to hand it to me. Eventually I ended uo shouting at both of them for SOMEONE to please just hand me my drink so I could GO because I’d already been in the drive thru line for well over 20 minutes with only six cars ahead of me, and I had somewhere I needed to be!!!
Just skip this place. It isn’t worth the hassle. There are plenty of other Dunkies in the immediate area that know how to operate smoothly. As the two managers Jason and Skylar are withholding my check saying I cashed it which is 100% false never even received it. had plans in text to pick it up, never got the chance bc I couldn’t make it there on time before I moved. This is ridiculous I did not work for free as I have only this month to move as well . Read moreSo.... This is the third time this has happened and i just cant come back again. Today april 345pm on 6th april 2021 i ordered an ice macchiato and they gave me an cup filled with almond milk and what looks like very little regular coffee poured over the ice. It is not dark as an expresso should be nor is it the same level or ratio of milk to expresso that i would get anywhere else. I asked the cashier about this and she insisted it was what it was suppose to be. I am a chef by trade i have worked in the service industry for over twenty years. So not only am i lied too at the window by the people taking my money but nothing is done to rectify my situation. I called the store and asked to speak to a manager but the girl at the cashier is the one who answered. Tommrrow i will attempt to contact manager and if met well by her i will give a higher rating. But as it stands...i basicaly have a cup of milk i paod almost 5 dollars for...and i wasnt given a recite....and an issue i have to pursue or take on the chin as a loss.
