Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Canton

I am INCREDIBLY disappointed with the service at Hungry Howies on Tuscarawas and I encourage you to take your business elsewhere. We've been patrons here for a few years, ordering weekly, and we are active within the community. Tonight, we placed an order for a deep dish pizza, wings, cheese bread, 3 sauces, and some nacho cheese. We received a call within 20 minutes of ordering that nacho cheese wasn't available- we said fine, we don't want it. However, 1 hour 28 minutes later, when our order arrived, it was two sauces short and we were charged for the nacho cheese. I can forgive mistakes, incorrect billing, and EXTREME lateness if I'm treated with respect and offered a comparable solution. This did not happen. Alexis, decided it was my fault that my order was incorrect, that we would still have to pay for the nacho sauce- regardless if they had it- and her comparable solution was to have a delivery driver drop off the two forgotten sauces later that night. I explained that was not acceptable. She then told me that if I wanted my money back, my card would be recharged and it would take a couple of days to remove the charge. However, when I expressed interest in doing this she immediately redirected me to the delivery driver bringing the two sauces and still charging me for some cheese we didn't receive. She was rude, not helpful, and her solution didn't make any sense. We won't be returning. Hungry Howies and Alexis, I strongly encourage you to be better to...

On two occasions the team here has gone above and beyond to help my family out:

The first interaction I want to talk about is the time we ordered some breads for carry out, and when going to pick it up we accidentally left our keys in the house and locked the door without realizing it. At the time of the order the store was going to close in 30 minutes, so I gave the store a ring and the gentleman who answered helped us switched from carryout to delivery without a second thought. He also gave us well wishes when I explained the situation. I am super sorry I do not remember your name, but you a real one.

The second interaction was just the icing on the cake. We placed an order towards the end of the day as we normally do, and were on the way to pick up what we ordered. Unfortunately the item was out of stock, but Kendrick (my apologizes if I spelt that incorrectly) was super kind and thoughtful when thinking of how to substitute our item and just over really pleasant to talk with once we were there. The staff there really made it right for us.

With all that said, I will definitely be back.

While this review is most about the hospitality we received, the excellent food they offer is nothing to miss. Its a weekly routine to purchase from this store, and I have never had an issue with any of my orders.

I dont understand how the employees at the Tusc location can have such big attitudes the way they do! They actually left a note attached to my receipt saying if the number doesn't work to not deliver to me! 😡 NO ONE EVER CALLED ME!! I have my phones recent call log and they are not on it anywhere!!! Sounds like someone there has a problem with dialing numbers correctly!!! Then to be rude about it! How unprofessional! This is the third time I've had problems with this facility! Tonight I ordered 6 garlic butter dips with my five pizzas. They apparently ran out so they just didn't bring us any! They never called to even tell us or anything!!! I even checked to make sure they had the right number on the receipt!!! Sometimes they wont even deliver to us at all!!! And its not their policy either because sometimes they do deliver to us and sometimes they don't!!! The employees there need a hard lesson in...
